Dumped without ceremony into the World of Ruin as Galianda fell to darkness, Aeschere Childs has hit the ground running. Running towards her classmates, towards any hint of her homeworld, sure, but running also /away/, from the little gilded cage in which she grew up.

The precious, sickly, sheltered daughter of a skilled professor of combat magic at Alexander academy, Chera's whole life had revolved around her father's desperate attempts to prove to the universe that his child was worthy of him. In vicious spite of her infirmity she has been made to keep pace with Galianda's best and brightest in that world's finest institution, and never has she been permitted anything but to batter herself against that goal.

No longer. This world doesn't know her; this world doesn't box her up like a precious bit of china, never to be used for fear of damage. Here, she can be as strong as she likes. Her current companion is definitely fostering that attitude in her.

She's definitely a Dennou; the resemblance is just as uncanny as with the rest of them, but she seems to be a somewhat later model, if you will. She's only shown up anywhere just recently, popping up around Traverse with her sisters, or occasionally by herself. She seems to travel solo more freely than the parts of the standard-type Legion.

She seems distracted, most of the time; if she does engage with something, though, she does so with distressing intensity. Her mood swings wide and free, with little connection to her own circumstances. Thus far, she has limited her outbursts to, ah, socially acceptable situations. Like pitched battles with the Cauldron-Born.

*''Electro-mastery'':''Similarly'' to her sisters, Saitei Dennou enjoys direct control over electromagnetic force. Her own circuits are tuned purely for power; by herself, she can bring more power to bear than several of her sisters could, in concert.

*''Broad Education'': There isn't much else for a girl to do around the volcano lab than read and study. She's particularly knowledgeable about electrical physics, and she knows some bits about biochemistry that really nobody ought to. I blame her mother.

A war orphan, as far as anyone knows, she grew up in the camps and trenches of the War of Archadean Aggression, where she learned to bind wounds and mend bones. Once the war swept by and the Ruin came, she found herself a place with a humanitarian mission from the Church of Ajora Glabados. She took her vows not long after, so well did it agree with her.

Though nominally a scribe and historian, she has skill and experience in lifesaving that neither she nor the Church are willing to let rot; translation and transcription being a dull job, and hardly time-critical, she finds herself often dispatched to the aid of some expedition or another, Templar or not. If she complains while on the job, at least she's on the job; she swore herself to her mission years ago.

Outside of her work, she's friendly enough, if a bit timid. Her travels have taken her across the World and through Phantasia too, and she's happy to help wherever she's needed.

*''Combat Lifesaving'': Arkie is skilled and practiced at that subset of the healer's art involved in making sure a casualty lives to see the surgeons. She may not have a Devout's restoring touch, but she'll put you right enough.
*''Sword and Shield'': A gift from the regiment she marched with; a shortsword and buckler, and apparently the training to use them. What good would she be if she couldn't get to you?
