Having two annoying brothers is also a standard thing. In fact, things were pretty normal and uneventful for Kim until she reached her teenaged years, where one minor typo would change everything.<br />

At the time, Kim was a good high school student, earning straight-A's and being the captain of her cheerleading team. At the same time, however, Kim wasn't happy with the allowance she was getting, and decided that she'd take up babysitting as a way of earning a little extra income, having learned the skills from babysitting her brothers. She set up a website under the name 'KimPossible.com' advertising her babysitting services with the slogan, 'I can do anything.' Right after this, Mr. McHenry, a security expert who designed laser grid systems, contacted her for help. Originally, he wanted to get in touch with the group 'Team Impossible' since they were a special commando squad. However, he was forced to use his foot since he was trapped inside one of his laser grids, and ended up calling on Kim Possible by mistake.<br />

Initially, Kim was uncertain about this, but ended up going to assist anyway. Thanks to her cheerleading skills which gave her special acrobatic abilities, and her fighting skills which derived from numerous styles of Kung-Fu, Kim was able to navigate the laser grid and rescue Mr. McHenry. It was that one thing that made her into the elite secret agent that she ended up being known for. One of the most unique secret agents who manages to save the world and still be home in time for her curfew and keeping a straight-A performance. Not to mention, everyone knew her identity but never bugged her about it.<br />

= Personality =<br />
The motto, “I can do anything,” is something that reflects Kim's knowledge of her abilities. As a result, she is a very optimistic and cheerful person, and always puts her friends and loved ones ahead of her when things get tough. Yet, at the same time, she can also be very arrogant when she sees people doing things better than her, which is due to her high standards she sets for herself, and this in turn can lead to her being bossy and trying to set high standards for others.<br />
<br />
Kim is also susceptible to the general problems that teenagers her age face. Things like peer pressure, which she finds hard to resist and as a result attempts to do whatever she can to fit in with others. She is also known for being constantly embarrassed by her parents, and has a puppy-eyed pout which shows when she doesn't always get her own way. There's also the occasional times where she vents her anxieties about things on other people, whether or not they care.<br />
