Shiki stumbles through the streets of Fluorgis. Following her is a pile of saddlebags with two small legs poking out of the bottom of it. On her side is a spiky-haired teen with big shoes and a desert cloak.

Somewhere far behind her, status unknown, is Reize.
And Priel.

She makes her way into home, passing through the empty rooms and putting Sora on a bunk in the boys' side. Numbly, she goes through the motions of making sure he's lying down comfortably, and puts a pitcher of water on the table likewise, before heading back to her own room.

And then she just hits the bed face first, the sand and the salt from her tears scratching her face.%R%RShe left Reize behind. Some partner she is. Now Priel's going to eat him.

A dark, ugly part of her immediately tells her that she shouldn't have bothered calling for help, that she should have just let Priel stuff her face with her. It was what Higashizawa said, wasn't it? Enough things had tried to eat her already. She should just get the message and give in to one. She'd be better as food than as an adventurer.

And then, abruptly, there's nothing else she can think about, as her mind finally clicks over into unconciousness.

Shiki Misaki dreams of her worthless, fake body being eaten, again and again, and everyone abandoning her when Priel eats someone more worthwhile than her. Someone like Reize.
