|description=Hearts Intertwined, a volunteer organization founded originally in Manhattan works with local authorities and cross dimensional homeless services in order to help the lost and displaced in need of food, shelter and information.

They have a number of chapters open outside of their home city-- with the largest chapter being the Emberwood shelter at the base of Phantasia Mountain. Volunteers are welcomed from all races and creeds, with each group tasked with anything from the care of the homeless, helping people get established on new worlds to the protection of the surrounding areas from opportunity attacks from the Heartless.

As such, volunteers are likely as not to be adventurers or mercenaries as care workers.
