{{#set:Information=Theme}}After the Keyblade War, Kingdom Hearts was engulfed into darkness, and the X-Blade (Kye-blade) was shattered! Now, in the sea of darkness that surrounds every world, there exists a counter that exists as a shining beacon. The [[Princesses of Heart|Princess of Heart]] exists as an anchor to keep the world from being consumed by unending darkness. Made from the light in the hearts of children all across many worlds, they exist with a heart of purity that contains the heart of the world they represent. They are beyond succumbing to darkness and are highly sought after by those who wish to control the world they represent.

Every world only has ''one'' such person. Even if a world is consumed by darkness, so long as the Princess of Heart is safe, that world's power will not be entirely extinguished. On some worlds, the role is very clearly set as the divide between light and darkness is very clear cut. While on other worlds, the role is somewhat transient, moving to the next worthy soul if the planet's heart is in danger.

However, the children's wishes also made Seven Pure Lights - these Princesses of Hearts are the pillars upon which all worlds rest. Without them, the teeming darkness would engulf all. These Seven Purest Lights are a canonly chosen role: the original Princesses of Heart from the Kingdom Hearts games. The other princesses are known as the Princesses of Dusk. For Phantasia, they are usually the female lead character from their world. For Final Fantasy themes as well as original characters, the Princess of Heart is a role that may be set, or may change hands from time to time. Players of both Feature Characters and Original Characters may apply to become a Princess of Heart.

== The Seven Hearts of Pure Light ==
These are the 'Seven Purest Lights', the Princesses of Heart whose hearts are the most pure, and keep their worlds closest to the realm of light. Not only that, but they are the light that guards all worlds from darkness. To lose them, would mean to lose all worlds to darkness. They are the Shattered Keys to opening Kingdom Hearts.

== The Dusk Princesses ==
These are the Princesses who guard the World Hearts in different worlds. Their hearts may not be as pure as the Seven Purest Lights, but they are still incredibly important to each of their own worlds' balance. Though to lose the Seven Purest Lights would mean the fall of /all/ worlds, their own loss, or the fall of the World Heart, would mean the fall of /that world/. In the case of the World of Ruin however, as it is comprised of many worlds and contains multiple World Hearts, one would need to find all of the Princesses of Heart of that world.
