	Finally back in Fluorgis and such a trip was bound to happen. Not wearing his armor at the moment, the only thing that Evja wears to dignify and show his rank would be the altered Judiciers Cloak around his shoulders, a pure white cloak with a shining rune upon the back, a mark of a Judge. After all, though any could steal and wear this coat...

	Only a Judge could make the rune appear.

	It took half an hour to reach the waypoint by which a Judge could swiftly go to the Grand Court where all Judges call home. Located high in the sky on a floating isle, hidden away from society, only those that know where it is and how to get there could have any hopes of finding it.  

	Departing his Chocobo, Evja patted him affectionately on the cheek before shooing him off to enjoy some Gyshal at a nearby field, slowly ascending up the hundred step climb to the lobby of the court. Along the way the unarmored Judge got various 'glances' from other Judges, all armored save for those who were still in training and had yet to forge their own armor as a rite of passage.

	But to see a Judge present at the court, out of armor, did cause a stir. 

	"Identify yourself!" 

	That came loudly and brazenly from the Judge who guarded the doors, a large fellow in ornate Judge Armor similar to all others, save his cape was golden, a sign he was not of the clans, but a Judge of Order, one who served the Court itself.

	"Evja, Clan Judge. My coming should have been foretold by the stablemaster. I have just made it back to Jylland and thus I am reporting to the council."

	"...be swift, and be prepared to be punished for daring to appear here without your armor."

	There is nothing that can be said to such other than bowing his head, the Viera stepping inside and removing his veil. It was the only place in the world, save a place where there were no others, that he could and had to remove such. To hide ones face within the halls of the court was not only taboo, but rude. All Judges within had their helms removed, carried under arm, as he did with his headpiece as well.

	The long walk straight down the halls eventually led him towards the chambers of the Judgemaster and Magisters. A brief knock and a resounding, "Enter." led Evja to pushing the doors open, bowing with great pain from his injured back before raising. "My Lords."

	"...You are Evja." said Magister Kayel, a tall thin hume woman in her older years. "We thought you lost to the shadows."
	"Indeed." Continued the Judgemaster, helm on as a sign of his authority and position at the moment. "You never approached the clan you were set to Adjudicate. Explain yourself.

	And so Evja did, in time explaining he had been lost to the shadows approaching, transported to the place known as Traverse. There he explained the things he had learned, of there being other Judges, primarily Archadian Judges, who seemingly were war-thirsty and bad news, of the worlds and world shards and hearts as much he knew, and of the Hades cup, which he was a part of and why.

	"That is all and well, though I would ask - where is thine armor?" The question caused the Viera to hang his head, shamed as he reached out into the air, pulling a piece of armor from his inventory. The giant breastplate that he normally wore was charred, a husk of what it was, and when he turned it, one could easily see the back of it was shattered. 

	"It happened when I attempted to protect others from an attack of the Shadows. Those beasts were able to use the forbidden spell Meteor, or something akin."

	"WHAT?!" The Judgemaster stood, slamming his hands, "Those creatures know forbidden magics?! Damn it all!" Kayel reached over to place a hand on his, "Calm, Judgemaster. It is fortunate that this one even yet lives." To that, the Judgemaster nods, "A miracle he withstood such magics, especially given his natural weakness to such." 

	Keeping his eyes closed, Evja was actually quite embarrassed that such a thing was brought up here. "Evja, raise." The command from the Judgemaster caused him to look up, "If they desire it, you may approach the Shardseekers and treat them as a clan within the land of Jylland, do they not already conduct themselves as such. Likewise, if they desire a Judge, you may adjudicate for them so long as they agree to uphold our laws and act as if they were a clan from our own world. However, you are also free to wander the lands beyond, and you shall act as our eyes and ears, and as necessary a sword and shield. We will reforge your armor for you, however this time I will authorize the use of materials normally suited only for the Judge Magisters and above. If you are indeed to be fighting these shadows, it is unfitting for one of our ranks to have their armor shattered so."

	The Magisters looked towards the Judgemaster, quite confused, "Lord Master?" Kayel asked, "Is it truly wise to offer such to a Judge this inexperienced?" The response was a shrug, the man taking his helm off, an older man with a long thin beard, "Perhaps not, but I will not have one of my Judges slaughtered by those damned shadows when I could have done something to keep them safe. Especially not one who is fighting to restore worlds. Evja... walk with me for a moment, there is something you should hear from me before you return to your companions."

	Evja nodded and stepped aside to let the Judgemaster pass, following behind him outside and down a private hallway. "Your old Clan... Verdant, escaped their holds when the shadows came. We have yet to be able to apprehend them as they have been hiding quite well. Be careful young one... with your armor being reforged, there will be at least two days you will be vulnerable. It is our mess, and we shall clean it up, as you helped us do when you reported them for a corrupt Judge."

	"...yes, Judgemaster, I shall be careful. And... I thank you for the assistance with my armor, I know what this means to the others and what it must do for their doubts in the wisdom in it."

	However, Evja flinched a bit when a hand came up and patted him on the shoulder. "Until the world returns to how it is, I am naming you privately to the rank of Judge Magister Errant. You hold no power within this court young one, but I trust you not to besmirch our name in the world outside. Use this responsibility well, and know that whatever decisions you make, I shall support them in full." And he turned, leaving Evja alone in the hall to ponder the half promotion.

	"I am sorry for startling your friend."

	Jumping a bit, the Viera turned to spot the Chocobo Stablemaster from Fluorgis. He had his helm off, an old hume male that was beyond the age to properly Adjudicate battles. "It is well, thank you for approaching and reminding me. With this back of mine so bad, I have been... elsewhere with my mind." The older fellow nods and departs, content with apologizing. 

	"..." Then Evja finally slumps against the wall as he holds his head in both hands. "Judge Magister Errant, hm? Mmph... Espers above help guide me, I was not expecting this task."
