=History= Setzer was the only child of a relatively wealthy family. Born in Jidoor, where general status was prized and the poorer were expelled, Setzer was always seen as someone barely tolerable, due to his tendency to take risks that some considered 'not fit to a young noble', which revealed itself early on his life. He never thought much about it. In fact, he didn't really care about Jidoor. What he wanted was to go out and see the world. The chance showed up when his parents passed away from sickness. Despite being constantly chided by them, they were pretty much the only people he was fond of in the whole town, and their loss was shortly followed by Setzer liquidating the whole estate and running away with a substantial amount of gold. What did he do with it? Study, Study and Study Some More, until he could build his own airship, the Blackjack. It was during his studies that he met Darill, captain of the Falcon, which would become his companion of misadventures and rival to the title of world's best airship pilot... whose contestants were just the two of them. Don't ask what was going on those two's minds. Eventually, disaster struck: Darill, pushing her Falcon one step further, went missing, and the Falcon's wreck was eventually found by Setzer. Following his promise of only taking the Falcon if he won it, he repaired and placed it on a tomb he built as his friend's last resting place. The following times were dark: He had lost his way and his will to go on, wasting himself among (mostly) successful gambles and making his way in the world as an eccentric and famous personality. Latest of those daring gambles was his plan to kidnap the famous opera artist, Maria. Of course, somebody had to mess it up and let the Heartless into his world. As the World Hearts weakened and the worlds merged, Setzer found himself as a part of a strange new world. Did he embark on a crusade to find out what happened? Well... no. He kept gambling, partying and socializing, up to the upper strata of the Archadian society. Gambling debts aboard his airship might or might not have something to do with it. =Personality= Setzer's someone that appears at first as somewhat of a childish man, mostly due to the carelessness he gets himself into risky situations that involve gambling, not to mention the light way he seems to take things and his occasional flirting. However, a deeper exploration of their character also reveals a more serious side to him, a kind-hearted, insightful observer of his surroundings and of the different situations he might see himself into, marred by the pain of losing his friend, something that keeps haunting him with a conflict about his place and motivations in the world. Eternally in love with gambling, he treasures his liberty, and will not take the loss of either of them without a good fight. He also takes promises and the given word as something to uphold, and does not respect liars and oathbreakers. Regarding the others and the powers that be in the world, Setzer takes no definite sides, but he's not terribly fond of the Gestahlian Empire and their allies. On the other side, he is also reluctant to take an active part on the conflict between factions, although the right kind of persuasion might tip the scales... =Abilities= Setzer is... a regular human. Hailing from a world where magic is almost non-existent between the general population, his casting abilities are... well, they just _aren't_. On the other hand, years of gambling made him nimble of hands and feet. To fight, he uses mainly gambling implements, like cards and casino chips, often flourishing his moves and dropping gambling-related expressions. = Logs = {{Character Logs}} = Cutscenes = {{Character Logs|Cutscenes}}
