| Players are the people who play in the Reapers' Game. The players are chosen by the Reapers after they die. They were once moved into Shibuya's Underground (world of the dead), which allowed them to still see events in the living world - yet they could not be noticed by any person there, short of Reapers and other Players. However, since the events that caused the fall of Shibuya, those Players have instead moved to Traverse Town and moved into the 'Real World'.
Still, the Reapers' Game continues. Players are still chosen by the reapers, and given a chance at revival or fulfilling another wish. Only now, there are a lot more obstacles than just the Noise and Reapers. Hades isn't too happy that the dead are still walking, whilst others seek to use them for their chance at getting a wish fulfilled. | |||
