Profile

The sole survivor of a long-destroyed realm called Misteria, the man known as Makenshi is shrouded in mystery. Like many of the other Gaudium Lords who lost their worlds to Chaos' inexorable advance, he appears to have cast his lot with the Earl Tyrant in an effort to bring about the young lord's desire of merging with Chaos and becoming the ruler of all Wonderland. Often stoic and taciturn, the albino warrior performs the task of keeping an eye on those people who are of interest to the Shadow Lords in solitude, keeping only the company of a small fairy-like doll brought to life by the Gaudium Lord, Oscha. Using linear motion and his command over the magical substance known as Mist, Makenshi is capable of unleashing incredible devastation with his sword Maken and calling upon the esper Blade Dragon. As the 'White Cloud' he is also the hated rival of the man known as the 'Black Wind' and whenever these two opposing forces meet destruction is guaranteed to follow.

Abilities/Equipment

Unlimited - As one of the rare beings known as Unlimited, Makenshi is capable of feats of monumental destruction. His life force appears to be inexhaustible and no matter how badly wounded he gets, he will return within a short period of time completely healed. The only noted exceptions to this are wounds inflicted by another Unlimited or children of Chaos, though there may be others with the power to harm him permanently. Unlimited also seem to be completely immune or at least highly resistant to any sort of mental manipulation and most ailments.

Mist - Like all members of his species, White Cloud's power comes in the form of Mist, a vaporous substance created naturally from their breath. Mist can have various properties depending on his intentions including an obscuring fog, paralyzing clouds, and enhancing his sword strikes with explosive energy. To control the flow of his Mist, Makenshi wears a magical mask that he can summon or dismiss at will.

Mist is also the main catalyst required to summon the Sword Dragon which is a physical manifestation of his soul. Unlike Soil, Mist is activated via linear motion, making it an opposing but equal force to the powerful crystallized soul bullets.

Makenshi's control over Mist also gives him other capabilities. He can fly freely through the air and is immune to air-borne contaminants. Things made of air or water can be manipulated and converted into Mist.

Maken - White Cloud's magical sword possesses great power, capable of deflecting nearly any attack and carving through all obstacles with ease. He is able to control it through telekinesis with great speed and precision though the range on this ability seems to be quite limited. It is also used as part of the summoning ritual to call his Sword Dragon.

Crux - A magical fairy puppet given life by the Gaudium lord, Oscha, to spy on the enemies of the Earl and keep track of the Unlimited, Kaze. With the addition of Wonderland to the multiverse, this interest has expanded to the wielders of the Keyblades and the Princesses of Heart as well. Crux regularly reports to the Gaudium Lords on anyone they currently have their sights on.

However, after showing her great kindness, Makenshi has become the defacto master of the small construct, who seems to have an aversion to the cruel natures of the other Gaudium Lords. Crux prefers to spend her free time around the aloof swordsman and will usually report any findings to him first. She has a not-so-secret crush on the young man and will risk herself to drag him out of bad situations.

The doll's entire vocabulary consists of a single phrase which is little more than cute gibberish to any but the Gaudium Lords, thanks to Oscha's magic. Her small body and the ability to fly combined with incredible tracking capabilities make Crux the perfect spy.

Fated Encounters January 3rd, 2013 The wheels of fate are turning and, after quite a bit of time, Raiya and Avira meet up again.
