It approach evening at Fluorgis.
Reize was left at the basin, considering the words of Shiki. It was his surprise that not only did he get a kiss on the cheek, but he was told that cooties weren't real.
~ "It's not actually real, you'll learn that when you start figuring out what those weird feelings you have for girls really mean." ~
His expression became a bit somber, "...Those weird feelings that I have for girls..." He rubs his cheek, considering her parting words. He was kissed there.
He isn't sure what he is experiencing. But, he knows that deep down, it is something towards Shiki. He knows the real her. He is glad to know what the real her is like and he will help her. Then, there was that nervousness when he had that close encounter with Lenn. That feeling is hard to describe as well.
He starts to part from the water fall, until....
A sickening, terrible feeling overcomes him. "Nggh..." His eyes become nearly vacant as the knees quake. "Nggh..." His eyes lift up, and he sees the shadows loom before him.
It's claws.. ominous claws that are reaching out for him. Jaws open up while echoes stir in his ears.
Reize is paralyzed, left to quiver.
Eyes widened until the iris shrank.
There was only fear.
"And so you see..." An anthromorphic duck that looks like like he is his fifties, who is speaking to Ivo. He seems rather calm, while Reize is bedridden. He has comical river of tears rolling down his eyes with a thermometer in his mouth and an ice pack on his head.
"The patient, Reize Seatlan, seemed to have caught, what some people have called 'Cooties'. Some of the travelers brought him to me, and I managed to calm him down. He was foaming in the mouth earlier! They had to restrain him! I am afraid that he will have to rest for three days."
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I CAN'T!!! I NEED TO ADVENTURE!"
Ivo, oblivious to Reize's complaints and the possible refoaming of the mouth, rubs his chin with intrigue.
"Ahh, thank you, Dr. Quackington...Huh, so it is real. ...I did not anticipate this."
