...So why in the world were people yelling and running about!? The sounds of arrows being let loose, spells flying every which way, and the telltale clang of metal meeting metal. Clan Gully HQ was under attack. But by who!?

It became apparent soon enough when the clan members and Luso came down to the first floor foyer, weapons at the ready and also in various states of undress. "W-What the heck are YOU guys doing here!?" The de facto leader of Clan Gully demanded, glaring at the various men garbed in black. They were ninjas. Assassins. And most importantly; Khamja. Of course they would not stay silent for very long now.

The grunts stepped aside a bit, making way for their leader to step forward from the back. A tall man cloaked in black ninja garb, a mask covering the lower half of his face, a black cape fanning out behind him, and a black turban on his head. Locks of blonde hair peeking out from under marked this man as Ewen, the mastermind behind Clan Gully's past and currently very recent problems. "We've come for a very simple reason." Was all he said, raising an arm and producing a very familiar tome from within his robes. It was The Grimoire of The Rift!

The sight caused Luso's eyes to widen. "Huh!? Hey! That's my book!" He shouted, pointing indignantly at Ewen. "How the heck did you get your hands on that? Give it back!" Not even waiting for an answer however, the boy dove forward, lashing out with the strike from currently held sword; Kotetsu. The rather rushed strike was easily parried aside by the assassin's own blade. Following up, he aimed a kick at the boy's exposed side, forcing him back into his allies. "Gah!"

"Unfortunately, returning this isn't in our plans at the moment." Ewen coolly replied, tucking the book away once more. He took one moment to survey Luso and his clanmates before turning away and walking off, the assassins with him moving to block his way as he left the building. Once he was gone, they followed suit, dashing off at impressive speeds.

Once the enemies were gone, everyone seemed to deflate. Luso himself let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding before sinking down into a sitting position with his legs crossed. "...They took it. They totally just stole my book..."

"Now what?"
