Synopsis: Will walks to the grave of his wife...with the knowledge that this year it will be different.
Cast of Characters: Will Sherman, Sigrun

It was that day, the day many years ago he lost someone important to him...the most important person, perhaps, in his life. The scars from her passing still laid on his soul, both good and ill in this regard, she had a significant impact on his life. The fact that he had lasted this long as old as he was a testament to the love he held in his heart for her.

Years ago, she had came into his life when he had outlived his first family, he had been walking through life after that point, alone. He had depended on drink to dull the pain of life, dull the things that were too hard to bear every day, because he could not relate to anyone...to relate to them would eventually lead to him being alone...

But then she was there, disarming him at every opportunity, she always knew what to say to stop him from giving up and walking away. She’d warmed his heart again, reminded him of things he was missing out on being alone..Will grew to love her again, with all of his heart and soul.

Years went by, and while she grew older, he did not. He didn’t care, he refused to care...and then one day she was gone. He woke up, she did not...she was buried, and he was alone. They never had children, of their own at least...but they adopted of course. While his mortal children never knew what he was, not that he himself knew at the time, he watched them. Generations went by...

Her grave lead him to the next step in his life. It was here the Boss of the TDA, Alexander Hall met him investigating something one of his great grandchildren had set him on...someone always walking up to the headstone of the grandmother of his grandmother.

These memories ran through Will’s head as he approached the headstone, crouching over it for a moment and placing flowers on the grave as he always did. Lilies, they were her favorit-

He turned suddenly, to face something behind him.

Riku had told him what had happened when they were separated in the house. He had met someone, someone who claimed to be two important people in his life. He had drew her picture, showing it to Will earlier that day...

Melody was standing there, just as he had remembered her. Her strawberry blonde hair rolling down her shoulders. She wore the clothing that he had first met her, she ran her hand through her hair, weakly smiling at him,

“I knew you’d come.” She says, matter of factly, “You even bathed..” she says, not moving towards him yet. She stood there, slightly nervous..

Will couldn’t take his eyes off of her, tears welling on the edges of his sight. “...Mel...” and at the same time, “...Sig...” both voices speaking out at once, which surprised himself a little. She too, looked surprised by this, staring at him for a moment.

“You know why I had to leave, right? It was to protect you, I...I originally was trying to free...my husband..” She says, looking guilty, “But...I grew to love you, you remind me of him in so many ways...in the end I couldn’t hurt you, anymore than I could hurt him.”

Will pauses..shaking his head, “I don’t care about any of that.” he says, “You’re here...we’re together...” he says, moving towards her, but he was halted by her hand, shaking at him and backing away.

“No...” she says, “I can’t be with you, if I stay with you, then the other fae will know you exist...and I do not mean the two you already met. The ones that will do you harm, who have long memories...I..”

Will shook his head, refusing to accept it, “No. I will deal with whatever comes, I won’t lose you again. Not ever again!” he says, grabbing her hand and pulling her into a close hug. She was more powerful than him by leaps and bounds, his magic not fully formed...and even then bound into a seal that bound Loki, “I love you...I always have, I always will. If you can’t stay with me...then please, PLEASE...”

There was a moment, the woman shocked into silence, as he stared intensely into her eyes, “Just...be with me one day.” he says, her feature softening as she looked into his eyes.

“Will...I..” and then she was silenced, once more, actions spoke louder than words, will bringing her in...and for that moment, that one singular moment, everything came together perfectly.
