Not sharing the adventurous exuberance of her peers, she's just getting by selling her goods and avoiding too much trouble.

Profile

Mir is a simple girl. She runs her own bakery and cafe, which she's since moved to a different city than her hometown. She's got a bad attitude, but a good heart underneath. It doesn't take much to make her resort to knocking heads, and even less for her to fly off the handle. But she's overall, a good girl. She has a home in Goug, but she mainly travels to different cities and locales, selling baked goods while on the go.

She is not an adventurer and will be the first to tell you such. Combat is not her forte and, though she can swing a sword or a lance, she would be the last to actually do so. Not confident in her strength, Mir is more than content to leave the 'heavy lifting' to other more capable people. She's more at home traveling from city to city with her bakery cart, selling off the various cakes, pies, bread, and other creations of hers.

Though rare, she does sometimes head out to remote, or dangerous areas to search for rare or mundane ingredients for her dishes. It's about the only thing that she will stick her neck out for. Despite this however, if push comes to shove, Mir can't bring herself to abandon someone in need. As long as whatever is needed of her doesn't trade her life for another's, she will help out in the best way she can.

Abilities

Mir is not a natural combatant, but she does posses some skills, mostly out of the necessity for self defense, rather than any blown up need to be some strong mercenary warrior. She has some training experience with swords and lances. And can at least put up a bit of a fight with them when necessary. She will almost always lose out to anyone who actually partakes in that sort of thing for a living however. Practical experience trumps theory after all.

More naturally, she is capable of casting a plethora of elemental magics, with varying degrees of effectiveness. Being a wind fairy, it naturally goes to reason that her strongest element is wind. It's natural. Something she just 'knows' how to do, by virtue of her racial heritage. Other magic such as light, water, fire, and so on are less and less effective, going in that order. Her range of magic usage goes from raw offensive magic, weapon imbuing, and spells to support and assist others. With the latter being that which she excels at. She'd like to learn how to heal, but she hasn't found the time or a proper teacher.

Non-combat wise, Mir is an excellent cook, though she focuses on baking out of preference for the trade. She travels from city to city, selling goods that she'd baked herself, but she also owns a small cafe in Goug. While she's out, a friend and business partner happily runs it in her stead. Mir is very passionate about cuisine in general, and is always on the lookout for new and interesting ingredients to use for her creations. Though she has a brain, and won't come up with crazy dishes that obviously would not work. And beware, wasting food is one of the most unspeakable crimes to her. Never do it in her sight or she won't let the culprit hear the end of it.

As another racial trait, Mir possesses fairy wings. They seem to be made of pure light and emanate a green magical aura. Observant people may notice that the glow of her wings also directly corresponds to the magical energy she has. When it's plentiful, her wings glow brightly, when it's low, the glow becomes more subdued. When she's got no energy left, they will retract back into her back. They are capable of flight as well, though Mir doesn't fly as much as people might think. Flying isn't all that beneficial to her business, considering she's got to lug a huge cart around. Mir can also will them away when she doesn't want them out. And usually, that's the case.

Not so much abilities and more just possessions, she owns a large, red baker's cart that she travels around with, one fitted with a magic stone to perpetually emanate heat, which keeps her goods warm. And pulling that cart is a yellow Pulse Chocobo by the name of Coco. Mir treats Coco more like a friend than a simple mount or a pet. She seems to have conversations with him and asks his opinion on things, which turns the heads of more normal people. Nevertheless, Mir sees nothing wrong with it.
