Profile

Rescued just in the nick of time by Reize from a forest monster, the strange girl who was named Lily by her savior is quite the enigma. Despite being a young teenager, her only memory before waking up in the forest is a terrifying escape from the Darkness... consequently, she's quite curious about everything! ... everything that doesn't want to beat her up, that is. Though a prodigal child in the ways of magic, if Reize's non-existent sense of direction doesn't lead her into trouble, her own abysmal worldly knowledge never fails at it. These escapades makes her a touch timid and wary, but Lily is a cheerful and pure-hearted, yet unbelievably naive young woman who shines with innocence. The oddest thing about her is definitely the beautiful jewel firmly set in her forehead. It's a big help with her magic, but... really, normal people shouldn't have these!

Abilities

• Elemental Control: Lily's strength lies exclusively in the mystical arts. She has prodigious talents with the Elements of Fire, Nature, Water, and Air, wielding each with an instinctive grasp - but little skill. She is very good at channeling their spiritual properties, allowing her to use magic that strengthens allies easily. Fine manipulation of the Elements themselves is still a bit beyond her, but she can nevertheless use them for self-defense, conjuring fireballs, invoking lightning, sending temperatures plummeting, and other pure expressions of Elemental might. It is, oddly enough, easier for her to let the Elemental powers rage than exert much control over it.

• Curative Magics: Though she has no talent whatsoever with Darkness-based magics, Lily has exactly the opposite with what might be labeled 'White' or 'Holy' Magic - particularly the curative and restorative aspects it holds.

• Mystic Senses: Lily's senses are a bit warped from the typical person's. While she sees, smells, hears, and feels the same things everyone else does, she picks up even more on top of that. Lily possesses senses for the magical that overlays all of her other senses, interweaving with them on a deep level. She's finely aware of local magical flows, and can easily detect active enchantments and the like. This extends to picking up the auras given off by different creatures, though Lily has trouble individualizing them unless it's someone she's spent a long time with.

• Magic Absorption: The strange crystal on Lily's forehead serves many purposes. The most direct is serving as a focus to absorb magic. Lily has very little control over this yet, but it serves to keep her safe from offensive magics and helps her replenish her personal mana supplies at a prodigious rate.

• Star Magic: A curiosity to be sure, Lily has displayed a mysterious power above and beyond the realms of standard magic... but only in times of extreme duress - desperate panics, overwhelming determination, absolute terror, and complete adrenaline rushes. Her body shines radiantly every time this happens, covering her in a thick blue-white corona of crackling cosmic forces capable of unspeakable empowerment and destruction. Asked to name it, Lily's only answer is the enigmatic and uncertain 'star magic.'
