| As far as anyone knows, New Ivalice has existed for a long time. It has always been a world bound by law, and there have always been Judges to uphold these laws through the use of powerful 'Judge Magic' - which draws directly from this world's inner existence.
The New Ivalician Empire is so total, that it in general is just referred to by its world's name; 'New Ivalice'. Run by Queen Remedi, it tries to keep the peace in the world. | |||
With the coming of the Heartless and the Dark Oceans, the Empire has only gained more control. Its judges are spread out however, supporting the clans to hold off the heartless and saving their lives...
As long as the clans hold to the law!
