Rating
The overall rating of Final Kingdom Mush set at: PG-13. This means that we expect players to avoid behavior that would be considered higher than this rating in any public areas of the Mush, including public grid rooms, channels, and posted role-play logs.
We understand that PG-13 can sometimes be a bit of a gray area, but we ask that you stick to the following guidelines:
- Keep swearing to a minimum.
- Avoid descriptive nudity/adult situations. (The 'strategically-placed-object' trope is a good way to handle things in a humorous way.)
- Avoid excessive gore within violent situations.
- Avoid (when possible) OOC topics that lead to major arguments, such as: race, religion, politics, etc.
- Avoid tasteless innuendo or jokes unfitting for a young audience. These may make some other players uncomfortable.
When in doubt, each player will have a 'Rating' field in their +oocfinger, which indicates what rating that player is comfortable with. We expect each player to be responsible for knowing the 'Rating' of the players they are interacting with. We also ask that players keep in mind the overall tone of the game as well as the age of the characters they are dealing with.
If a player expresses that an OOC comment, or an IC scene makes them uncomfortable, we ask that you please be willing to either drop a topic, or work with them within a scene to make sure that their concerns are taken care of. We want this to be a game where everyone feels comfortable chatting with others, or being involved in scenes. Try to respect others, and be understanding that not everyone has the same comfort levels.
