Recent Events
After his Defeat on Mt.Gagazet Seymour returned to Yevon, biding his time reinforcing his power as the game changes dramatically. New worlds and new monsters plague the land yet he's still obsessed with two things Yuna and Sin. Seymour stands ready to welcome new individuals to the faith of Yevon, hiding his true face behind his religion and he may bring the Teachings of Yevon to all worlds.

History

Maester Seymour Guado born from the marriage of Maester Jyscal Guado and a Human woman, this marriage and child born of it was seen as an abomination creating strife amongst the guado and humans. Eventually the feud became too great Seymour and his mother were then exiled to Baaj Temple, living in near seclusion with each other Seymour would show proficient talent in magic and the art of Summoning. His mother growing ill in seclusion with her song seeks a way to find a way for him to be accepted, soon she makes the decision for them to take the pilgrimage.

Upon reaching the end of the pilgrimage the truth of Yevon too much for a young child to bear found Seymour fleeing from his mothers sacrifice and dieing wishes to become Seymours final Aeon and defeat sin. Seymour returned to Baaj Temple where he would live alone for years, his isolated lifestyle giving birth to his views on life and death.

He would soon realise the only way to truly end Spira's pain would be to Euthanise it, end its suffering by giving it death many years were spent on how. Eventually he came to realise how with the greatest power in Spira 'Sin' he would become it his knowledge of Yunalesca and the truth behind the final Aeon brought him to this conclusion to end the suffering of all those innocents with a swift merciful death. For this he needed power and returned to Zanarkand accepting his mothers Aeon and then having it transported to Baaj Temple, hidden away Anima would be his own personal Aeon

He climbed the ranks through Yevon halted once he became high priest in Macalania by the presence of his father, the man who exiled him and his mother. Seymour resenting the fact his mother still seemed to defend and care about him despite their exile being on his command, still he received a merciful death at the hands of his son.

With his father out of the way he arose to become Maester, from that position he could begin acting out his plans with only having to worry about Wen Kinoc another Maester eager to grab for power. He played the games with a certain calm controlled manner always wearing his facade of polite softness.

Soon he would meet the one that would be his wife lady Yuna, daughter to lord Braska also a half-breed like himself part Albhed he found himself drawn to her. She showed spirit and resolve he had only seen his mother display, soon he began making arrangements for taking her as his bride, many would see it as a hope giving occasion the daughter of Lord Braska marrying the son of Lord Jyscal while fighting to defeat Sin. Many would assume it was a clever move to put him on top of Yevons power games, but this was more to Seymour she was his way to become Sin he truly felt for her be it obsession or love. Having planned everything out carefully he proposed to here within a memory sphere of old Zanarkand within the same room as Lady Yunalesca and Lord Zaon, everything was going to plan despite the hesitant and annoyed guardians.

Everything was set in motion Guado spreading the word of the impending marriage, and even Lady Yuna's arrival to Macalania to accept his proposal. The it was all smashed with one act from beyond the grave by his father, he tried to reach out to Yuna only to have her guardians get in the way, and seeing only one way through it he would attempt and fail to end the protecters. He died there but was reborn with greater resolve as he once again began obtaining everything he seeked, even succeeding in marrying Lady Yuna on Bevelles cathedral peak, despite it all being an act to send him he found himself liking her all the more for that resolve.

Revealing Yevon to Yuna he was part of Yevons true face, unsent Maesters ruled and lied to ease the pain of the world rather than give it no hope. Sentenced to Via Purifico Seymour would go to wait for their daring escape from the dungeon, although Wen Kinoc decided to follow him to make sure there was no funny busines. There wasn't he was very serious when he killed him and absorbed his pyre flies to do battle with Lady Yuna's party again leaving him once again defeated, and them once again fleeing.

It wasn't till Mt Gagazet till he revealed himself once again, having slaughtered many proud valiant Ronso warriors who barred his path, once again all in the name to win Lady Yuna to ending Spira's pain. By the end he revealed himself to the Son of Jecht and revealed to the party how Sir Jecht was sin, defeated but not yet sent he regathered himself.

That's when the game changed, Sin and Lady Yuna vanished new creatures started attacking and new players began appearing to the grand game, Seymour returned to Yevon halting the chaos in his chase of Lady Yuna. Regathering his forces he began seeking out answers for Sin and Lady Yuna, but he also began his own plays seeking new allies in this great new expansion as visitors and invaders made their way onto the scene.
