Will Sherman has posed:
Manhattan!

Specifically southern Manhattan is a mass of tall buildings and great places to hange out. The streets are large, people are everywhere...and occasionally, you see some real characters. Of course, sometimes this is a REAL thing. Right now, Will is doing some actual investigative work. The heartless have become a real problem lately, worse, combined with the stuff from the recent raid on Xanatos Supply lines, Will was checking his contacts throughout the various parts of the city that are among the lower class of the city. The hobos and the lower cast...Will is not King of the Hobos for no reason!

Right now, however, he's focused on getting to the bottom of a bag of sandwiches he has 'aquired' from the 'grace' of Mercade by the use of 'borrowing' money from his wallet. If you believe any of this, I have a sandcastle in Florida to sell you.

"Mmm...bacon cheeseburger." he says, finishing another one. It's not from those bad places, like McDonals, no he's gotten this from a little side shop that he's walkin' out of.
Cheshire Cat has posed:

To meet Will is a gentle singing, the text seems to be composed entirely of intelligible nonsense, and the guy singing it? He suddenly appears as he walks past a lamp post. On one side of the lamp post there was no man, on the other side, and now leaning against the lamp post, is a man with a very wide grin, keeping up the song. His striped clothing is... unusual.

The grinning man stares at Will expectingly, as though he expects Will to do something, but he doesn't mention what. He does not stop singing, but his position does change, sitting on the ground, leaning against the other side of the lamp post, crouching and leaning his head on his hands. Still doesn't stop the expecting stare.
Valencia has posed:
Valencia is sitting on top of a fairly low building, enjoying a small cup of tea with a water bottle and a box of teabags. Strangely, there seems to be no teapot or even source of heat even though her cup is steaming hot and she's smiling. Noticing the man in a pink suit down below, appearing one moment in an area then disappearing the next she looks down and says, "...Hm." before draining her tea, then tossing the used teabag into the air, charged with starlight before it disappears in a glitter. She then takes the water bottle, box of tea, and cup and places them in her jacket strangely seeming to disappear. Floating down to street level slowly, she hovers over towards the man and will with an interested look on her face.
Will Sherman has posed:
Will's head goes up at the singing...

Odd, as he finally turns to see the man in the strange outfit. He cocks his head to the side and tries to make sense of him...which is even odder because the mess of tangle that he is. This is odd, even mad people have strings...erratic strings, but not like this...but nor is the strings turned in on themselves like the heartless. They just...are a mess. A mess with that same mad grin at the center. Of course, the flying person causes Will to take his eyes off the ...

DAMN IT! NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE LUNATIC!

"Hey! Seriously! We're trying to preserve some sort of sembulance of order in this world here, stop breakin' the veil. Fly at night! At niiiiight!" he complains, though not seemingly actually that upset about it. The gloyssomer strings are easy...but another string of darkness...that is disconcerning, but it doesn't seem to go deep.

He turns back to the cat in man's form if he is still there... "And you..." he says, "Are interesting. Want a burger?" he offers him a burger. "Name's Will Sherman, King of the Hobos."
Cheshire Cat has posed:

"Interesting is one way to put it." The man suddenly stops singing, his grin not fading as he takes a step forward, "Never been a fan of theft." And then he halts his stride, only then acknowledging Valencia. "Hello." His head turns without his body, "I would like some of that tea, if you care?" He then sits on the ground, stretching his legs.

"You may call me Felix Cheshire, Will." He picks his eyebrows up and lifts them like a hat, then puts them back. "So this is an interesting city." Then without pause, "What is your name, miss?" He stretches a single leg, then he returns exactly where he stopped his song, apparently finishing it.
Valencia has posed:
Withdrawing the cup from her jacket, along with the teabags and water bottle, Valencia nods and says, "Of course." before starlight surrounds the teacup as it floats in the air, and she proceeds to pour in a bit of water and place a teabag in. Then, she snaps her fingers as a flash of flame appears in the middle of the teacup as it starts to steam. "Here you are. One cup of mint sorcery tea." as she pushes over the floating teacup. "Valencia diChiaroscuro. Sorceress, mage, and scientist."
Will Sherman has posed:
Will just kinda stares at Valencia for a moment...

Slowly, he puts a palm to his face. Siiiiiigh. "Hey. Uh. Maybe you should cool it with the throwing magic around? I mean, I know I ain't normal here exactly, but a lot of the people here in this city haven't actually gotten to see magic...and uh...you know, would be nice if we could like...break them in slowly? Not all at once?" he says, shaking his head. World barrier and all man! Come on!

He turns back to Felix Cheshire. "Alright Felix. So you caught me. I'd ask how you know, but I guess you'd give me a riddle and stuff right?" he grins, "Oh what the hell...How?! How did you know?!" he grins. the game is important! He also eats the burger in hand.
Cheshire Cat has posed:

"Thank you." Cheshire picks up the teacup and takes a sip like it's the most normal thing of the world, placing it back just as he's taken his sip. His gaze is turned to Will, that grin never disappearing. "Wouldn't you like to know, detective?" He gets up, picks the teacup and takes another sip. He leans against a nearby wall.

"Haven't they told you knowledge can drive a man insane?" It seems as though he intends for that to be the answer, despite it being phrased like a question. He takes another sip and then, as though he only just realized it, "Needs sugar."
Valencia has posed:
"Oh come now, they already know heartless are real." Valencia says, "They've probably already seen people using magic to fight them, what's the harm of a bit of sorcery and some basic magic?" she then pauses before saying, "Hm... Sugar..." as she rummages through her jacket, pulling out a jar of sugar with a spoon in it as she says, "Ah, here we are!" which curiously didn't seem to be there before what with its bulk. She then opens it and says, "One spoon or two?"
Will Sherman has posed:
"The heartless are one thing. They come from the darkness...they are the monsters under every bed...the thing in the dark ally that you don't want to go near. People here have delt with that even longer than I have been alive..." and he looks all of seventeen, "The heartless are not hard for people to grasp. However, magic like yours breaks the laws that people thing are universal...while this world DOES have magic, it is quite different than yours." he nods... "Witches cast mostly through rituals and charms...others use spells aready defined. Others...well, I guess I am a bit different, but people can understand random chance over a fire ball any day of the week." he says, with a grin. "I ask that you only tone it down a bit...please be mindful that it'll come out eventually...but change sometimes must be...slow."

Slow because he can't imagine the entirety of Manhattan with fireballs. "HEY DID YOU CUT ME OFF! FIRA!" oh god. Will thinks. That'd be...okay, no worse than normal now that he thinks about it.

Felix says something interesting, with brings a grin to his face, "So they have...so they have...but is it knowledge, or the truth that drives men mad? Is it wrong to seek the truth? Or is it because people are not ready for it? The truth and knowledge are both very powerful things." he says. "Of course, lots of things drive people crazy. Love, power, money...Lawyers."
Cheshire Cat has posed:
"Oh, I've already finished it." Felix answers, turning his teacup upside down to prove it, and then letting it float in the air like that. He might be getting bored by now, as he heads back to the lamp post, "I hope you'll forgive me, it's time." Without further explanation, he walks past the post, not re-appearing on the other side. He's still singing, but the voice fades into some indeterminable distance.
Valencia has posed:
"Hmph. Well, I suppose you can't please everyone." Valencia says before sighing and saying, "And I didn't even get my teacup back... Oh well." then placing the sugar back in her jacket as she says, "So, pardon the overly obvious usage of magic. Well, that and sorcery. Honestly, sorcery is incredibly convenient. I can carry an amazing amount of things that I wouldn't be able to otherwise with it."
Will Sherman has posed:
Will totally has the Teacup now.

Too Zeta slow!

After a few minutes, though he hands it back with a grin on his face. One has to wonder when he even grabbed it? Reguardless. He shrugs at Valencia, "Eh. Look, I am just the King of the Hobos. So...you know, take my word as you will, I just figure you might attract unwanted attention by being so flippant." he says.

"I mean, just existing sometimes gets the wrong eyes looking at you. I know how magic can be convient...I know a sorcerer. Uses a tablet for all of his magic though. Pretty cool guy.."

"...I haven't seen him sense the darkness ate the world around us though." he says, a bit sad. "But I am sure he's alright."
Valencia has posed:
"...I see." Valencia says, looking contemplative for a few moments before smiling and saying, "I'm sure he's alright too. Sorcerers are tough like that, not to mention the fact that we have a decently flexible brand of magic available to us." she then sits down in the air and says, "So... Know who that, 'Felix' guy was? Seemed awfully strange."
Will Sherman has posed:
"An enigma wrapped in a question wrapped in a mystery." Will says, with a smile on his face. Will did love a bit of...crazy in his life now and again, because it was good fun. And of course, Valencia touches on a subject that is something he can agree with.

"The strings were tangled, but at the same time not turned in on himself. Interesting...very interesting." he says. "Reguardless. I'ma get back to work. Crime don't solve itself."
