Themesong: Dearly Beloved
It has been about a day. Maybe two. Who knew? Time had always been fickle thing. Where as a mere second can be a day, the same was said for vice versa.
Reize was taken back to the Shard Seeker Headquarters, broken and in bad shape. Clothes tattered, dried blood long his legs, head battered. Scratches and charr along his body. He had seen better days. But he was treated with bandages along his head, legs, and chest. His neck was in a cast to help support him.
Meanwhile...
Reize, fully clothed, found himself lying n the ground, swelled in a land of darkness. No light, just the shadows that lurked. As the darkness creeps along, a small light shine like a brilliant star before the fallen boy lifted his head up, groaning in pain. As the light shimmered, a soft masculine voice spoke.
The glare of the light blinding the boy, he held to his pendant which too matched the glowing light. "Nggh..."
Slowly, several lights gleamed to life. The radiance of the light slowly casted away the darness. It's brilliance revealed to be orbs that shaped itself into a star.
The boy crawled towards one of the lights, a hand reached out to grasp one his way.
The boy slowly got up to his feet, the boy pushed a hand to try to get up to his feet. He stumbled, falling on his face. "Gah!" He winced, holding his stomach and he reached for another star.
Reize looked up towards the shining stars before him. Standing up, he looked towards his pendant. It flickered on and off as he reached for the next set of stars before him.
"...To be a great explorer like my father..." Reize held onto his pendant, "...And to find mother."
As Reize walked over to touch the star before him...
Familiar voices spoke to him at once: Ivo, Faruja, Lily, Lenn, and Shiki. And the last one... Riku...?
--A hand rests along Shiki's hand, offering her a faint smile.
"..Knight's Vow #19: Not all right choices are the smart ones."
