- Sho Minamimoto has posed:
The WildKat Cafe is playing some unusual music at the moment.

Within, Sho Minamimoto is breakdancing in an open spot of the cafe, using mathematically calulated motions for maximum spin without trashing the place. Odd for him to be so concerned about collateral damage.
He hops up, spinning a cup of hot coffee on a finger like a basketball before stopping it and draining it off in one shot.
Seems like he's actually enjoying himself in a way that isn't making him kill things for once.
- Riku has posed:
Riku decides it is time for some noodles. He believes in cycling things all the way back to the beginning again. He wandered through Central Park, but he saw no sign of anyone he knew. He is somewhat quietly grateful for that.
To be able to continue on this small journey around the places that he knows in peace. He is thinking of dark noodles with a slice of beef when he approaches the Wild Cat Cafe. He raises his eyebrows, and then raises them higher when he realizes who is thrashing in the middle of the store. Then he realizes it's some sort of choreographed dance and which exactly jerkass is behind the moves.
Riku pauses for a moment, looks for signs of heapage, mayhem or property damage. When he sees none, he walks the rest of the way into the cafe and orders his noodles. "Sho." he says in passing, his voice curiously neutral.
- Sho Minamimoto has posed:
Peace isn't something that follows Sho around. He is very disruptive to what he sees as 'peace'. When Riku walks past, Sho blinks. "Oh, it's you." He says. He keeps the music playing, but he flops into a chair, spinning a donut on a finger before taking a bite out of it. "The undefined product, back in action. What brings you into town?" He asks. "No bird, either. Interesting. Word on the street is that you're out of your vector." He says, tapping his chin with the baked good contemplatively.
- Riku has posed:
"Completely." Riku answers him in a voice without rancor. He just doesn't seem to have the energy or wish to invest the energy in being hostile. "But hey. I got promoted. Now bad tempered squirrels tell me what to do." at this he gives a faint smirk.
He spins around in his chair once before taking the journal out of his pocket and flipping through the pages. "While this moment of civility lasts, I've got a question for you. You might find this sitation amusing, reversed as it is from last time."
- Sho Minamimoto has posed:
Huh. He's not biting. That's new. Sho kicks back, putting his feet up on the table he's sitting at while munching the donut idly. "While I wouldn't mind balancing the equation by making you jump through a bunch of hoops, my generosity is at a record high at the moment. Go ahead. I can solve any problem." He grins at that, only slightly maliciously.
- Riku has posed:
"Yeah. Solve yourself." Riku responds with a smirk, implicating that Sho is a problem that is in need of solving but also not really seeming to care one way or another. He gets his noodles, which seems to cheer him somewhat and he lays into them.
The journal is full of notes and drawings of various types of Noise. "I know what they are called. Hell. I know what they sound like when you or somebody else is giving me a headache by using them, but --what IS noise, anyways?"
- Sho Minamimoto has posed:
"Oh, I'm working on that." Sho replies pleasantly. "I expect to derive a lot of satisfaction when I finish factoring the answer."
Riku asks a question, and Sho nods, flicking a hand. There, between each finger, is a pin, each with a little image of a creature on it. "These pins? Noise pins. They're the tools we use to Erase Players that fail the Game. Just add a little Soul and some Imagination to power it and poof! Solve for Noise. They run around looking to devour more Imagination to make more on their own. Sort of like the other aberrant functions out there... Right, Heartless."
He flicks his hand, the pins vanishing in Sho's faster-than-the-eye sleight of hand. "I thought you were a Reaper when I saw you. But you don't have the gear... And of course, I never saw you before."
- Riku has posed:
Riku nods, tilting his head to the side a little as he observes the pins. He looks over his notes and writing his down in them.
"Which means you or one of your buddies didn't kill me." he echoes, taking another bite of the shadow noodles and picking around at the beef. "Which is the whole point of the.." he shrugs. "Game. I suppose. You asked if I liked games before and I didn't answer you. Are you up for just any game, or is this the only game in town?"
- Sho Minamimoto has posed:
"That could be fixed, you know." Sho points out. "But I'm always up for new things. It's not like the Reapers matter anymore anyway." He laughs. "CRUSH! Another piece of junk on the heap, right there with Shibuya. No more rules. No more Kitanji and his damn meetings. I'm the last Game Master standing and that makes me the eternal head of the Game."
He narrows an eye at Riku, tilting his head slightly as he considers the young man. "So... What do you have in mind."
- Riku has posed:
Riku actually laughs. "I might take you up on that Sho." he takes another bite of the noodles, enjoying the flavor and taking a moment to reflect. He continues quieter. "I might even mess with your final solution. But not just yet. I've got things to do." he smirks. "I can take noise, and hear noise-- but I don't create Noise. And I'm going to need somebody who can create an unholy racket. Manhattan is gearing up for an invasion, and Noise is just the sort of thing I need to keep people from thinking too hard."
- Sho Minamimoto has posed:
"There's all kinds of benefits. Immortality, superpowers, being able to kill anyone you want, upward mobility..." He shrugs. "But who gives a damn. What you want is me to hit Manhattan with enough Noise to make their heads spin." He rubs his chin, thinking. "So I've been there. A lot like Shibuya. Lots of people. Lots of lights. No beauty."
He looks away, before giving Riku a sidelong glance. "So what's in it for me? The equation has to be balanced. You want Noise running rampant in Manhattan, someone's got to put them there. What do I get out of it?"
- Riku has posed:
"What can I give the guy whose got Immortality, superpowers and upwards mobility?" Riku smirks. "Spin it the other way around. You're permanent Game master of a game without a board and whose game pieces are in all sorts of inconvienient places." he pauses, his hand shaking very slightly before he gets it under control. "I suggest you take a page from another immortal I know and enjoy the moment. The minute Manhattan gets attacked, people will practically come out of the brickwork and line up to be convieniently dead. Then it's a brand new game, isn't it? A lot easier to host a game when you've got enough people to play against eachother."
- Sho Minamimoto has posed:
"What do I look like, Pinky?" Sho grimaces. "But no lie, I've got alot, but certainly not everything." He considers for a moment. and then shrugs. "But there's a currency that's always significant." He rubs his fingers together. "Information. We've already traded once. These worlds don't follow the RG and UG design, which makes me think they don't have Composers. Tell me how they work. Tell me who and what is in charge. I want to know where to focus my attention. Give me a straight answer and I'll find it in my heart to make it very... Noisy in Manhattan."
- Riku has posed:
Riku flips a few pages, taking a slightly weathered business card from the pages as if he had pulled it up from the 'drawing' it had been moments before.
He slides the business card across the counter. It says 'Xanatos Enterprises' "Well-- then let me tell you a story, Sho. At least the parts that I know. Let me know if I go too fast. "
