In A New York Minute

A gathering of the Shadow Lords creates a plan to deal with a burgeoning threat: The city of Manhattan. Many of the forces of Darkness have been inconvenienced by them, as well as others seeing a potential for greater threat from that world. A plan is hatched between the Lords, led by Riku, LEXUS, and Negaduck, spells the beginning of a dire time for the shining city.

It begins when Riku seeks out a key to the World Heart, finding it within a statuette sold at a charity auction. While Riku searches out the location of the Heart, LEXUS engages in a complex plan to attempt to weaken the defenses of Manhattan. When an attempt to recruit Xanatos goes awry, the program turns to a being with more outwardly flexible morals, Dr. Anton Sevarius. Sevarius, promised power, resources, and money, leaps at the chance to experiment with the Heartless supplied, creating terrible new strains of Heartless. He is also provided with a device that enhances the ability to control Heartless at the cost of rapidly increasing the hold of Darkness in one's heart. With his research, Sevarius lures in Fang, an ambitious Mutate of the Labyrinth, to begin making a stronger bid for leadership of the Labyrinth. In exchange for research subjects, Fang is given the resources needed to raid for weapons and the subjects requested.

The attacks bring the notice of the Restoration forces, who investigate deep into the Labyrinth. There, they are introduced to the trials and tribulations of the forgotten of Manhattan, those who survive on their wits and the strength of a mutate protector called Talon, and those loyal to him.

During this time, Fang attempts a coup, but is driven off. He falls back to Sevarius to seek out more help, but Sevarius backstabs Fang, using his newly developed Darkness Serum in order to force him to give into his darker nature in exchanged for increased power. The Restoration Forces descend upon the lab to meet Dark Fang, as well as the latest creation of Sevarius' labs, the Neo-Parasite Cage. The ensuing battle throws Manhattan into chaos as the Heartless kept in the laboratory escape.

This is when the Shadow Lords strike. A massive siege occurs across the city, the heroes desperately holding against the tide. Finally, in a last-ditch effort, the heroes evacuate as much of Manhattan as they can while another group attempts to stop the consumption of the World Heart, which Riku had found.

Tragedy strikes in the World Heart, and Manhattan falls to the Darkness. The world is consumed, breaking apart and vanishing as another star in the night sky dims.

Is this the end? Or only the beginning?

Price of Knowledge	December 9th, 2012	During the battle for Manhattan's light, Avira reaps the consequences of turning her back on a foe earlier. That foe just happened to be Dr. Anton Sevarius, armed with a syringe filled with the fruits of his research.
Do you remember?	December 9th, 2012	After being defeated by The Heartless in Southern Manhattan, King Mickey finds himself drifting endlessly in a sea of darkness. However, The King is not alone! Being defended by his friends, the keyblade master begins to recuperate from his wounds, while finding himself dreaming a little dream and a having a discussion with his own unconscious.
A Short Pause	December 8th, 2012	After the brutal fight with LEXUS at the Empire State Building. Minerva drags Luso into a Drug Store in search of medical supplies to tend to his wounds. Before they make for the portal in Central Park.
In A New York Minute: The Blockade	December 8th, 2012	Leida and Ember (Katyna) are tasked with creating a blockade around Manhattan's Central Park Shadow Portal. Our heroes will have none of that.
In A New York Minute: The Manhattan Project - Docks Of Doom	December 8th, 2012	Sho Minamimoto and Big Bad Pete make their appearance on the Manhattan Docks.
