A man with great, angelic wings sits at a table, with an abacus set upon it as he writes down some notes on a piece of paper using an old-world style quill-pen. This aegyl, dressed in the robes of a rather lavishly embellished holy man, continues to scribble as a knock can be heard at the door to his chamber. "Come hither." he calls out, and the hatch opens up, which is followed by the appearance of a Burmecian, escorted by two large, seven foot tall Bangaa soldiers. Both bow, and then leave immediately, leaving behind the rodent-demi as the aegyl's only company for the time being.

"Your grace.", the Nezumi says.

"Let's get right down to business, Ferago Sorsa." says the Aegyl, and motions towards a chair located on the opposite side of the table from where the winged-one sits. The ratling seats himself and draws forth a piece of parchment, as well as a more technologically advanced pen- clearly, the Aegyl is a stickler for tradition, since Mullonde does can render things such as ball-point pens, and yet he's elected to employ a quill.

"Calligraphy is an art that few are versed in these days, Ferago Sorsa. Penmanship is a telltale sign of its inscriber, when one employs writing tools such as this..... To say the least, it makes forgeries much tougher." grins the Aegyl.

"It's risky business for anyone to try and impersonate a bishop.", says Ferago, as he raises a brow.

"That doesn't mean people won't try to pose as me, nevertheless..... there are some folk out there with enough daring to take said gambles. So you will have to pardon my dilatory gait of depositing my ink." The Aegyl states, fairly nonchalantly, with a trace of amusement in his voice. Continuing to scratch away, he finishes, and puts his quill in its holder, then slides the document to Ferago.

"Your grace.... this is.... less than we agreed upon; Wateraja Bombs are in short supply right now." the Nezumi frowns, disappointedly, wondering if the Aegyl is trying to swindle him.

"I want to purchase Blizzaja Bombs. Those are cheaper right now, with the market being what it is.... So I trust this is the right amount?" The Aegyl folds his arms over his chest, assuredly.

"I thought that the construction site called for water b-" The Burmecian starts, before the Aegyl cuts him off, "...Ice and water are interchangeable in their classification.... both are designated as 'water elemental', so I am going to save our taxpayers a hefty sum by investing in Blizzaja Bombs."

Ferago scratches his head confusedly, "Umm.... but, a deluge of water isn't the same as....", he starts, but is again interrupted by the regally dressed Aegyl, "I'm not a technical expert in water and ice as far as it applies to masonry! I'm doing our city a service by economizing.... all /YOU/ need worry over is the delivering of explosives to their destination..... And with the label 'Water-Elemental Explosives', alright? I don't have lots of time to spare on trivial details, so let's be done with this."

The Nezumi nods his head, and stands up, ".....Whatever you say, bud."

The Aegyl narrows his eyes, displaying annoyance at something, "I am Bishop Jaren.... not your 'bud', so I suggest you address me properly, if you want to do business with Glabados again.... or even to so much as keep your head annexed to your shoulders."

Ferago nods, thrusting his hands forward, opened up in a defensive, shoving manner "Whoa.... sorry, hey, I'm just tryin' ta make a living here! I'll drop off the shipment, and then..... pick up what's mine?"

Jaren nods.

With that, Ferago walks out of the room, closing the door behind him as he transcends the threshold of the entrance. A few minutes later, a shadow gradually expands from the corner of the room, and then forms into a humanoid shape. A half a minute later, an entity dressed in ninja-like garb speaks, from behind Jaren, who seems oblivious to the newcomer's arrival. The dark kunoichi, unsurprised by Jaren's confidence(or ignorance), speaks using a melodic, whilst not applying a grand amount of feminity, "Count Valos has agreed to your terms. He's already on his way to where Ramza Beoulve is holed up, and could even be there as we speak."

Appearing to be utterly indifferent to the presence of another person's vocalizations within the same room that was allegedly occupied by only himself, the bishop doesn't even bother turning to face the female ninja, yet he still addresses her, all the same, "Inform him that we can't follow through with the rest of this for a couple weeks... so let him know that he's got some time to kill." He chuckles, lightly, ".....After all, it wouldn't be very realistic for him to choose to stay and fight if he had several escape routes availed to him; he's known for having a staunchly tactical mind. We need to wait for our little 'accident' to occur before he'll be plausibly susceptible to any breed of ambush."

"As you wish." responds the ninja, who promptly leaks back into the shadows of the corner of the room, blending into it, and then, presumably.... uses it as some conduit through which to slip into another shadow, elsewhere, allowing her to move freely, so long as there is darkness that's accessible.

Propping his chin atop his hands as he rests his elbows against the table, Bishop Jaren sighs, relieved, ".....I see that someone /WILL/ rid me of this meddlesome priest.... Truly, there is a God, and he doth be a benevolent one."
