Lost Children of the Plates
Date of Scene: 25 February 2013
Location: Traverse Town
Synopsis: Three students from Alexander Academy meet as they make plans to exlore this strange new world.
Cast of Characters: Annia Leradine, Myla Mason, Artyom W. Valodjn

Annia Leradine has posed:
There are times to stick around, and times to move. And the one that it is right now is moving. Annia is packing up a rental chocobo, as she seems to have gotten all that she needed from Traverse, at least informative wise. There are more worlds to check upon, and now that she has a phone, shouldn't be too hard to rendez-vous with the professor whenever its needed. Or the other students, although she really doesn't care about them all that much either.
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
There has been a strange new sight around Traverse Town lately. A big man with an even bigger something-or-other, wrapped up tight on his shoulders hase been seen coming and going through the city's many streets, stopping here or there to trade for supplies; groceries, parts for miscellaneous machines. And every time, he would trade with a handful of small gems in combination with the usual Munny.

Small savings, all a necessary sacrifice until things get better for he and his boss.

Artyom W. Valodjn yawns as he steps out from a corner. He rubs lazily at one eye, his other hand stuck deep into his pocket. "Mn. Gallon of milk. Loaf of bread. Stick of butter..." And then, there is a chocobo. His eyes flit up at the big bird as its rider packs it up. Recognition dawns across his face. "Oh. I know you," he says, about the girl by the giant bird.
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine sets up her bags on the bird, blinking a bit, and then frowning as the large man "I don't think I can say the same about you." She doesn't know that guy anyway. She hasn't been in Alexander Academy after all, didn't even get to set foot in the school before she got deported into this world, along with everyone else apparently. So she very much doubt he'd known her by anything else than passing sight, unless he was a Shivan as well, which she very well doubts. And she's not wearing the school uniform right now either, didn't have a reason to while there was no school at least.
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
Artyom was not a Shivan at all. No, he is from that great and massive mountain at the center of their world- he is a man from Titan. The Titanic are known for being either very small and stocky, or very, very tall. Artyom is clearly the latter. "No?" Artyom says, squinting at the girl and her bird. "Oh, well. My mistake, probably," he shrugs uselessly, scratching at his head. "Hold on."

He reaches (deeper) into his pocket, and retrieves a small, leather case. he pops it open, and sets a pair of thin spectacles onto his nose. He blinks once, then again, and turns his gaze back at the girl. "Oh. Sorry. Thought you looked like a girl I knew. Oh well."
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine shrugs "Not my problem." She's never been the friendly type after all, and with answers like that, you can see why. But nonetheless, the vest draped over her luggage is blazonned from the academy, so while she might not be the one you thought, still close enough. Like many other students she got transported here after all. Although, she's never with them either. Or at least, not often.
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
Artyom gently adjusts the glasses on his nose. Yellow eyes peer critically at the girl and her luggage. They pause, lingering over the coat uniform draped across her luggage. "Mmn. Another student. Seems many of us escaped before The End. Who are you, girl I thought I recognized?"
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine shakes her head "... Annia Leradine." She's been 'hit on' by many guys with similar lines, so please excuse her bluntness and ire at it.

Or actually, she doesn't really care what you thihnk either.

"Not exactly from the academy, I didn't reach the front door before... whatever happened.
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"I see. Well," Artyom murmurs, placing his glasses back into their case, and the case back into his pocket. "Welcome to the Academy, then. I am Artyom Wojciech Valodjn. Most call me 'Frank,' as I am told that my name is difficult to remember." Because it's ridiculous to try to pronounce. "I am sorry that you didn't have the opportunity to meet the others under better terms, but I'm afraid that this is the state of things."

If Annia is trying to be rude, Artyom apparantly doesn't care much for it. Instead, he shrugs through the bitter vitriol and continues to stare at her bird. "So you're planning on leaving? To where, exactly?"
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine looks back to 'Frank', not exactly impressed by anything really. "I got all the information I think I can dig out, so I was going to move on to soemwhere else, I was thinking of going to the Southern continent, to check on the few kingdoms and what not there." She's been information gathering alot recently, really. New world, new rules, new realities. "If you haven't yet, get a phone. Professor Mister Greene is also here, we'll work into getting a new school building soon."
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"Mmph. Greene got through too, huh?" Artyom mutters, rubbing his chin. "I've got a hold of a phone already, though, so there's little need to worry about that. But if you're leaving, it's best to be careful." The Titan crosses his arms over his chest, the little grocery list poking out of the fold of his elbow. "I trust that you're armed well enough to survive out there?"
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine points to the crossed-sheaths in her back, over her rear. Two daggers sitting inside of them. "I should manage." Of course, she doesn't know half of what really is going on in this world, but she's going by what she knows. And unless its some beholder or dragon, she usualyl can handle herself just fine.
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"Good," Artyom inclines his head, "But there are things that cannot be fought with weapons alone. It is best to travel in groups, in these days." Of course, Artyom himself can't simply up and leave at this point. He has to protect his Boss, after all. "In case something happens. It would be safer if you found a travelling companion."
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine shrugs "I didn't say I was travelling alone, some other students are following me around even if I tell them not to anyway. I have a phone anyway, so they can contact me anytime they need something." She slides a notebook out of a pocket, flipping through it "The portal here should lead to Luca, then I can catch a ship to the southern continent. On chocobo back, it won't be long either.
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"It sounds as though you're more or less prepared," Artyom makes a sound of approval. "It also seems as though you're getting along pretty well. But, those students who you're leaving with- would you mind if I asked their names? I'm not sure how many of us slipped out, and I would like to have a... better idea of the overall situation."
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine shrugs again "Not all of them been following, but we all moved here separately anyway, but there's Jidro, Kamon, Myla, Kyra, Niklas..."
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"Mm," Artyom inclines his head, the huge weight on his back shifting in its harness. "I'm familiar with... Most of those names, at least. I will watch for them. But you- if you find anything interesting out there, please send word. We're trying to piece things together as best we can on our side, too."
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine leans on the chocobo's saddle a bit, still flipping through her book "That's what I'm doing and moving around for." She points at the booklet "All of the information I found is in here. I will report to the professor as soon as we meet again."
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"Mm. I will have to find the old man, then. It's sort of strange, thinking that we'll be going back to class after... All that," Artyom gestures with his grocery-list'd hand. It's not a very effective gesture at all. "I will inform the ones I know. I'm sure at least one of them will be glad to know about it."

There's a moment's pause as Artyom sighs, rubbing at the nape of his neck, "Well. That means more work. Guess I can't keep slacking off as much."
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine lifts her shoulders "That's not something we can change. But yes, it might be odd to return to school after all this." Not to mention having to be around those people on a regular basis. Not that she's managed to be alone alot recently, but at least it wasn't in a classroom.
Myla Mason has posed:
Myla Mason has been considering roaving about town or even going beyond it soon as she seems to have tacked down Annia aat a bit and seems supriseed to see Souji's ever present Lacky has surives the end of the world. "I see you were just to much for the Darkness to digest."
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"Well yes," Artyom says evenly. He crosses his arms back over his chest. "There will be exams and homework, not to mention the early hours." He breathes a heavy sigh. "I'm definitely not looking forward to that at all. It'll cut into my mornings--"

And then, there is a Myla.

Artyom turns his eyes toward her. "Oh," he says. "I think I know you."
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine doesn't know that he'd be relating to Souji, otherwise she'd probably be even less pleasant about it. She shakes her head, looking over to Myla "I was about to leave to check out on the Southern Continent. More information or maybe a suitable place for the school."
Myla Mason has posed:
Myla Mason says "You do we had magiteh machine shop." She notes tilint her head a littl ebit. "Humm what's said tio be down that way Annia? I haven't heard much about it and the waters around here feel strange there tide isn't right. I think I'd like to get away from that."
Annia Leradine has posed:
Annia Leradine looks into her booklet "Goug the city of metal, a Chocobo Ranch, Alexandria kingdom, Tycoon kingdom of wind... Lindblum, the city of airships. To name a few. Seems like the most interesting one with literally 3 kingdoms and one mega city.
Artyom W. Valodjn has posed:
"Mm, well," Artyom's eyebrows gather up at the center of his forehead, scrunching toward one another. He stares down at his little sheet of paper. "I should probably finish with the groceries. The both of you, do please take care." He rolls one shoulder, shifting the enormous weight on his back. "I don't want to hear my classmates being injured."

With that, he turns, popping his neck as he goes to walk down the cobbled streets. "Loaf of Milk. Stick of Bread, Cup of Butter..."

Pause.

"No, that's wrong, isn't it?"
