Cast of Characters: Kuja, Garnet

Deep in the bowels of Alexandria Castle, would walk a half-naked Kuja, carrying the unconscious body of Princess Garnet. A censor bar still draped across his mid-section. He didn't have time to clean himself up from the brutish conflict which had undressed him, and ruined his luxurious hair. While vanity was always a concern for him, this was more important by far.

He had no time to linger. Between the Pernicious Rose and the Tin Man, he couldn't afford to leave the Canary alone even for a moment. He could trust noone to do this, not even the twin fools. This ritual required more finesse than he was capable of teaching them.

Laying Garnet down upon the altar, he would spread diamond dust about the room, forming a rune in a precise pattern. He would then take out a dagger, carving it across his palm, allowing the blood to seep into the rune. It would glow as crimson as the blood mingled in the dust, and then the rune would flare to life.

Throughout the room, an all-encompassing umbra would spread, and while normally darkness this deep would attract the heartless. He willed them away. He could brook no outside interference.

Raising his hands to the air, power would thrum through his arms, and Garnet would begin to rise into the air. Magical sparks would flow from the rune into her, creating the required conduits to extract an aspect of her unique powers.

"ARK! VESSEL OF THE DARK COVENANT! COME FORTH!"

Flowing from Garnet's chest, liquefied calignosity would come to form into a gem, with swirling shadows inside of it. Smiling, Kuja would set it to float in front of him, before continuing with the ritual.

"ODIN! WARRIOR OF THE DARK! COME FORTH!"

And then everything would fade to black. The puppets had no idea what they lost on this day, and Kuja preferred to keep it that way. And with Garnet's execution to come in the near future, they wouldn't have any means of figuring it out..

Until it was too late.
