Synopsis: | After the events at the Castle of Dreams Deelel has returned home, to think, rest and prepare for the next day. She had uncovered the truth of some dreams she'd had some time ago. There was much to think about and much to prepare for. She knew one thing, a storm was coming. |
Cast of Characters: | Deelel |
Dreams, programs dreamed, not quite like their creators but they did dream. Deelel had had dreams but they had become strangers. She recalled what she'd had to part with to save a friend. No power was worth the life or soul of a friend, it would be madness to think otherwise and to go against everything she felt what was right. It was funny she lived amongst the beings, who were her people's gods, there was so much in common. Yet there was so much alien about them, but she didn't care.
The program sat on the edge of the bed in the upper floor of Flynn’s Arcade once more. Mr. Litwak had gone home and even left something for Deelel in the fridge. She'd likely try it before she went into sleep mode for the night. She looked out the window at lights of the city outside for a moment and then turned her thoughts back to what had happened at the party.
The Paintings she'd never seen those coming not by a long shot. Seeing them, had jogged her memory as strange as that was. Unlike a human or other creature of flesh rather than voxels like herself? She had perfect recall but it brought things back into sharp focus. The faces of the three knights she'd seen fighting a desperate battle against another powerful keyblade user. She'd uncovered their names that this had all happened in recent memory. There was much more to the keyblades and the conflict with the Shadow Lords. Deelel suppressed a shiver, not due to cold but just out of some measure of fear. They were beings that could control a terrible power and sought nothing of plunging entire worlds into darkness.
"Think Deelel, think glitch it."
The other fragments of the dream, well some had come back to her memories of two places the place that the three knights had fought the old man and his own knight came back a stark and barren land much like the out lands of the Grid she was native too. It was a place that had once seen life but since had been stripped of it. The other things she'd seen there scattered like blades of grass standing as a mute testament to what had come before. Or even after that? There was much to think about, she'd needed to speak to Mercade, Ang, Zia and Sora if she could somehow find them. She had a feeling King Mickey might be aware of things related to this but he'd be harder to find than even Sora was at the moment. She made up her mind however, she rose from the bed and walked to the window and set her hands on the window frame.
"Worlds on top of worlds, mysterious on top of mysteries, what happened at the castle? It's only a part of something larger, related to what I saw, the keyblades. The heartless. I do not have enough data. I need to get out and find more. I'll talk to the others soon as I'm able to and then I need to start hunting down the trail of Aqua and the others. That other Ang mentioned...this does not bode well it's like we're in the second act of a play unaware of the first act even existing. Still many would consider me a construct but it was considering me, I wonder if it's still out there, waiting?"
She stared out at the night-scape of the city for a moment longer before turning to go find what sort of goody Mr. Litwak had left for her. She had much to do but she needed some down to time to let this sort it self up. Seith's curse was a more pressing concern but she had to get to work on the long term stuff as well.
