Cast of Characters: Reize Seatlan, Morgan Albaste, Shiki Misaki, Scar

Let's make some Noise! (2012-09-18 - 2012-09-18) No description.

Reize Seatlan has posed:
A new day has risen upon the Traverse Area, at least in theory.

The beach that was once the beautiful resort is left to become an artificial faucet of what it used to be. With the streets lit with artificial lighting, it offers guidance against the darkness from dawn to dusk.

With the morning presence, the lights shine brightly, offering a path to enjoy the shoreline, which offers a wonderous view of the sea.

It is perfect for a boy who had been experiencing cabin fever. Having recovered at an inn from a few nights before, he opted to wander along the town to get the feel of the new place. However, with the loud and overbearing presence of a town, going somewhere away from it felt ideal.

This is what brought him to the golden sandy street.

A mushroom cloud exhales as the Boy With the Long Yellow Scarf wanders.

"...Who knew that a town like this would feel crowded." He huffs, then he looks back, "...Though, I can't leave yet. Not until I know if she's alright..." He'll have to continue his journey.

As he approaches the edge of the shoreline, the boy cups both hands along the pendant, then he rises it to the sky.

"I wonder... what was that place I saw...? So many worlds..."

As the pendant is risen, the green emerald shines with a bright light, emitting its glow of magic radiance.

"---!!"
Scar has posed:
Wandering the Traverse Area and seeing what he could find, a dark-skinned, sharp-dressed man just so happens to pass by the beach, still a bit ticked off after hearing the lectures by that holier-than-thou rat, Faruja. Who was he to lecture the future king of the Pride Lands? Just thinking about it really rubbed him the wrong way! And nothing annoyed him like this other than Mufas-wait, what's that light over there? Stopped in his tracks by the strange green light on the beach, he ponders for a moment, before heading in that direction. After all, it could be useful to someone, and he can use that to buy favors. Or to blackmail someone. Spotting Reize with a peculiar gem, he can't help but think of the easy pickings just laid out before him...

"Well, well..." he begins, a subtle grin creeping over his face. "My, you have something rather interesting, don't you? Perhaps you'd be willing to tell me all about it, hm?"
Morgan has posed:
Now what manner of business would bring a certain Elf to the busy, oftentimes crowded town? Morgan Albaste's business is her own, kept to herself due to her personally labeling it as 'mundane'. Mayhaps it is for practical necessity; maybe Morgan simply became lonely. Whatever the case, the warmth and light -- even if artificial -- does her heart well. This is a wrong turn that the mage does not regret.

This 'take' on morning finds Morgan strolling along one of the sandy streets, clad simply in a knee-length wine-red dress that is as close to 'summer wear' as she can manage for now. She even elects to remove her footwear, and the thin-strapped sandals hang from a hooked finger as the Elf acquaints herself with sand upon her bare soles. She pauses in her gait, looking down at the pale digits of her toes as they leave impressions in the golden granules... and really, Morgan indulges in a slight smile.

Like any 'relaxed' moment, she must seize it and savor. She goes on with this solitary contemplation for a moment longer, until a voice catches her ear. Looking up, Morgan tilts her head as she listens, back turned to the approaching 'Boy With the Long Yellow Scarf' as she had been walking a ways ahead of him. Elven 'hearing' FTW!

Morgan peers over one shoulder, and there she spies the source of the boyish voice. What might he be doing there? Raising something toward the heavens as if in offering----wait, what? Something that glows...? And it seems that the boy is not alone, for another approaches him...

A man, dressed sharply. Chin canting upwards a bit, Morgan turns a bit more to observe the duo.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
For a brief moment, those who had came across to the boy rising the pendant in the sky can see glittering 'fireflies' rising from the ground, dancing around the boy. Those wisps move around in a spiral, occassionally dancing around his arms.

The boy stares at the gem shining in the sky, looking rather puzzled. An eyebrow is risen as he tries to figure this out.

"...Why is this---..."

Suddenly, it stops glowing and the wisps burst into fragments. After they disappear, the boy's eyes widen in shock, "Wh--..."

His eyes slowly drifts towards the dark-skinned, well-dressed man. "Uhh..." The boy's posture isn't quite hostile, but at the same time, there is a bit of uneasiness.

The tone drops a bit, the obvious uneasiness showing. "Uhh... just something dad gave me, is at..."
Scar has posed:
Scar's gaze falls on the boy, drawn away from the wisps as they dissipate. "Your father, eh? And where would he have found such a trinket?"

He steps closer to the boy, kneeling down and tilting his head towards him. It's... odd. Almost condescending, but at the same time, akin to a father talking to a son. "Oh, come now, you're not /afraid/ of me, are you? I'm not exactly carrying weapons around, unlike yourself. What could /I/ possibly do to you?"
Morgan has posed:
The Elf surely would have gone on to innocuusly observe the boy's reverent gaze upon the jewel. This is clearly something that means a lot to Reize, and the woman had gone on with her observations even as 'fireflies' had taken flight around his body.

But then, as mentioned, another has come forth and at present, he is engaging the boy with the jewel. Morgan pauses just shy of twenty feet ahead, almost preternaturally still as even her breathing is kept slow and her glacial blue eyes affixed. Something else has caught her attention: the detection of an aura that is /not/ too unlike her own. The elemental of darkness; that which sets her heart to throbbing anxiously. Beyond that sense of the 'shadow magic' in the air, resonating from the man in the impeccable attire... that is all Morgan can discern. She knows naught of the nature which lies below the man's dark skin.

Morgan's fine senses of sight, sound and overally instinct tell her that the boy in the scarf is mildly uneasy, though. Scar kneels, coming closer to Reize by way of kneeling to his level, and this sets the Elf into motion. She approaches the two, long black tresses trailing loosely behind her in the wake of her movements.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
This is a truthful look on the boy. For a brief moment, he does take a look at his pendant. There is a look of uncertainty as he observes he pendant and the gem that it has. "...I-I don't know." Where /did/ he get this pendant from? Why is it that he can use magic through it?

Who was that voice that spoke to him...?

Where is that voice now?

His pondering ends when the man approaches close to him, the uneasiness beginning to heighten. Both eyes widen as the man becomes face to face with his level. "...Well..." Maybe it is the fact that he doesn't have weapons in an environment like this and has some sort of self-assurance about himself is what makes him even more dangerous. Perhaps its his overall demeanor that makes him uneasy. "I suppose..." While he trails off, he can see an woman approaching.

Using this moment to dodge the situation, his demeanor becomes beamingly cheerful and he waves a hand her way, "Ooooi!"
Scar has posed:
Hm? Seeing the boy motion to someone else, Scar turns to glance at them, seeing the approaching Elf. But there's something about her that catches his senses. Yes, her aura, just like his. Interesting... But an unknown element. He'll have to take a new approach for now. "Really... Hm, and what does it do, other than the little lightshow there?" he says, turning back to face Reize, though keeping an ear out for the elf's movements.

"That was rather impressive, you know," he lied, turning back to the elf. "I assume this is a friend of yours?"

Confident that Reize can't see his face, he scrutinizes the elf, peering at her almost predatory...
Morgan has posed:
The boy raises his hand in greeting, calling out to her, and Morgan lifts her own palm in return. Her eyes do not yet leave Scar, due to her arrival having distracted Reize. The perfect moment for a deft hand to yoink a jewel..!

A few more steps, and the tense line of her lips curve upwards into a slight smile. Yup, just make nice...! Waltz right up and intrude! Morgan's eyes continue to observe Scar even as he peers at her, looks back to Reize, only to return his gaze to her as she draws closer. There's no mistakening the predatory hint that touches down upon Scar's features..

All-the-more reason to engage herself further into this meeting. Morgan now realizes that she just cannot leave this boy, who has shown her outright friendliness, alone with this man. "It was impressive," She finally speaks up in her calm timbre, finally breaking her gaze and looking down at Reize.

"Pardon my intruding.. I simply had to indulge my curiousity..." Morgan says kindly enough, flitting her gaze back to Scar once more.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
Reize, admittedly, needed something to help take the heat off of the pressured questions regarding his pendant. Truth be told, Reize doesn't know muh about the pendant. However, what he does know is that it has great potential for something. It was connected with something.

The wishes of the people.

The boy dismisses the thought, taking the motion of getting the attention focused on Morgan, who had made herself known.

Curiosity? Impressive show?

Hrghk. The pendant. His antenna hair deflates briefly as he winces. There is the subject in question. He rests a hand behind his head an mentions, "I ...honestly don't know much about this. Everything is new to me. This world.. so... I'm just traveling!" He grins, "I'm Reize Seatlan, an adventurer!"
Scar has posed:
Adventurer? Oh dear, Reize will be a thorn in his side after all. That's just what those types do, they meddle where they don't belong... Scar's face crumples into a frown for a brief moment, before he stands and glances at Morgan. "Oh, it's not a problem. But some friendly advice for you. I'd watch where that leads you. You know what they say. Curiosity killed the cat."

Yes, his player went there.

Still, he gives the elf his attention for now, as even the cat's curiosity is piqued. "You two know each other? Or just strangers meeting in pure chance like myself?"
Morgan has posed:
"Reize Seatlan," Morgan echoes in her gentle way, dropping her sandals and going about sliding her feet into both articles. Both hands now freed, she clasps them together politely in front of her lower abdomen and affixes the boy with a curious look. "Bearing a pendant behind which there lies a wellspring of mystery, of knowledge sought. Hn, indeed... the makings of an adventure. Be open-minded, young one.. but be careful too. Such a jewel shall attract all manner of attention.. sometimes ill-intent." She takes her own shot at Scar indirectly following his 'curiousity' comment, peering up through the black fringe of her lashes and giving the taller man a smile.

"Strangers simply meeting by chance," Morgan offers an answer, extending a hand toward Reize as he had been the first to volunteer his name to her. "You may call me Morgan, Reize." The Elf offers, smiling in earnest, though her wary -- and somewhat tired -- gaze lifts to once again find Scar. "A pleasure to meet you."
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
She must have taken a wrong turn somewhere. She heard about different towns and had to go check on them for supplies, Traverse Town was apparently pretty well known and easy to get to, but getting back to Midgar is a different story apparently. She hmms as the barmaid looks around. Certainly doesn't look like its the way to the portal at least. She shakes her head.

But there's hope yet, considering there's people over there. She takes a stride over to the group, maybe she can inquire on directions from them.

Let's just hope Reize isn't the one to help at least. She doesn't try to talk in right away though, waiting to get closer and noticed.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
There is the tale of the pendant. As she mention about it, she does hit home as the boy holds unto his pendant. It bears its mystery. He stares with intent towards the faint flicker, but soon lowers the hold to look back at Morgan and Scar.

Acknowledging her warning with a nod, Reize adds, "...Right..." He will have to diligantly safeguard this strange trinket. Nevertheless, he brightens with the serious topic over. "Oh! Pleased to meet you, Morgan!" He extends his hand her way, shaking it.

With another stranger, Tifa, showing up with what may seem to be a lost look, the boy brightens and cheerfully waves her way, "Ooooiii!" With enough people, the pressure about the pendant will fade.

"So it looks like everyone had came to the beach for fun!"
Scar has posed:
Scar glances to Morgan as she gives her name, shaking Reize's hand. As she addresses him, though, he turns his head away disdainfully. "Charmed...".

Of course, then his eye falls upon Tifa, another stranger to him. Young girl, short skirt, plain clothes... Odds are she's another adventuring type. They're just multiplying now. Like flies. Still, no reason not to gather information first. "Another friend of yours," he dryly states. "And you would be?"
Morgan has posed:
Gingerly shaking Reize's hand, Morgan smiles again and bows her head once. "Thank you." She says softly, folding her hands again the moment the boy's attention is drawn elsewhere. She too peers off in Tifa's direction, and the Elf very easily recognizes that this woman has perhaps lost her way! Tifa approaches the trio with purpose, and Morgan offers the barmaid smile of acknowledgement once she comes into proximity.

"Good day, miss," She offers... not morning or night or the like. That'd be moot, in this town. ~__~;

Charmed by Reize's far more exhuberant greeting, along with his assumption of why all have assembled on the beach, The Elf smiles indulgently and glances sideward at Scar once more. The way he glanced away and grumbled a 'Charmed..' .. are those, perhaps, the reactions of one who has been foiled?

Morgan will assume what she will... the more who assemble, the better. "And your name, sir?" The Elf asks of the tall man, head tilting once more.
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart nods her greeting to everyone, blinking a bit as Scar seems to address her directly with a question right off the bat. Well, that's fine too. He looks pretty imposing though, the others look more tame in comparison "Ah, I'm just a bit lost. My name is Tifa Lockhart, I was getting supplies from this town, but looks like I got lost trying to find my way back to Midgar." Well its not called Midgar anymore, but its about as close to 'home' she'll find in this portal ridden world.

From the looks of things, she can defend herself well, her gloves look like they had to punch in a few of those weird creatures that roam around. All while carrying a box of alcoholic bottles and other trinkets for her bar, holding it against her chest right now. Proper holding of heavy boxes avoid bad backs, remember that ~_~
Reize Seatlan has posed:
After the handshake exchange, Reize brings his hand back to his side. With the other distraction about, this gives the young boy more of a chance to ease the subject of his gift off of him. For now.

Reize will have to keep in mind about the man.

Of course, in retrospect, depending on the black art wielders of cooties is a sacrifice that he'd have to take. What a situation that Reize is forced to endure.

His glance is awarded to Scar, if briefly, before turning towards Tifa, "Oh! I'm Reize! Pleased to meet you! Uhh..." The boy blinks for a moment, hearing that she had gotten lost.

> Accepting [Side Quest #1: Help Tifa to Midgar]

"Oh! I should be able to help! I've gotten pretty good at maps! If you have a map, I'll be able to show you!"

Welp, Tifa. You're screwed.
Scar has posed:
His name? At being asked his name, Scar almost glares at Morgan, but restrains himself. A name to give... Obviously, he wouldn't give his real name... or would he? He'd be grinning a little inside, if anyone could see him. "Taka."

Well, technically, it's his name, it's just not his /current/ name. "Midgar?" he questions Tifa. "I don't think I've heard of such a place before now."
Morgan has posed:
Attentive to Scar's wariness of her from the get-go, Morgan is also watchful of the man's responses. She goes on watching him innocuously as he manages to stymie his glare and quickly rummage for a name to give her. "Charmed, in turn." She offers casually, before listening attentively to the exchange between Tifa and Reize. She offers little input in regards to the matter of Midgar, as she knows so very little about it! The Elf's expression is apologetic as she turns to Tifa.

"I regret that I've little in the way of direction.. but I should hope that you find what you're looking for, miss..." She trails off as Reize pipes up with his intentions to help out! Morgan can't help but smile a bit at this, as she finds the boy's enthusiasm rather catching.

She gazes out toward the water serenely, as she waits Tifa's response to the young adventurer.
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart looks between Scar and Reize "Well Midgar is a really big industrial city, like a mass of metal and stone built around a tower, surrounded by reactors that generate electricity. I Believe its different in this world though, as if it turned into an earlier version of it through time." she lifts her shoulders "I can't explain it any better, but the slums and even my bar are still there, its all very odd."

She bows her head as a thanks to Reize's help. Poor girl, doesn't know what she's getting into, but they, good will at least. She nods to Morgan "Its okay, at least he seems to be able to help me. The portal was near town, I just got lost trying to return to it. I don't know this place well."
Reize Seatlan has posed:
When Scar finally introduces himself as Taka, the boy turns towards the tall, dark-skinned man. The boy would shake his hand, but there is still that uneasiness. What really unsettled him was how abrupt his pendant's power stopped manifesting its energy. Nevertheless, the boy manages to keep his friendly demeanor regarding the man. "Hi Taka! Pleased to meet you as well!" The boy brightens considerably, then he turns to face Tifa.

At her explanation of Midgar, he places a hand to his chin while pondering this over. Truth be told, he never experienced a place like this. However, it is worth exploring and finding out about! Hopefully it shouldn't be too far from the town. After all, he needs to make sure Lily is alright. Though, on the other hand, Ivo is likely taking care of her as well. Perhaps it is best to continue to travel.

"Knight's Vow #1: Always help a person in need! Besides, I am curious to know more about this place. It'll give me a chance to travel around and see more things for myself as well!" The explorer muses, "I should have enough supplies for the trip, so we can head off whenever you're ready, Tifa!"
Morgan has posed:
Goodness, but this boy is enthusiastic! Such ambition continues to supply Morgan with a degree of energy, which is.. admittedly.. very necessary. Unused to travelling so far and wide, the Elf finds herself feeling weary despite the pleasure of sand beneath her toes. It has been quite some time since that 'murky point' in her life, but it still leaves her tired on occasion... (stupid dead Malachy messing her up like that.. :E )

But that is neither here nor there. Morgan chalks up the fatigue to the shock of being in a 'new' place, and immediately she sees fit to remove her footwear again and indulge in the sand. She wriggles her toes once, glancing back to Tifa and Reize. "T'is very kind of you, young knight, to lend aide to the lady Lockhart. I wish you both luck in getting to where you wish to be. " This said mainly to Tifa as the mage smiles at her.

She glances over a shoulder -- my, but she looks around a lot, doesn't she? c_c -- toward the town proper as it tapers off into this beach, her expression pensive. "I should consider seeking out a few things, myself, before I carry on.." Morgan says mainly to herself. When in Traverse, aye...? Do as the.. huh, well.. you get it. <3
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart nods to Reize "Well it shouldn't be that far from here considering it didn't take me very long to get here from Midgar, so hopefully you won't need to use those supplies." Oh, she doesn't know Reize well, that's for sure. An hour away could very well mean a few days of wandering. Maybe Reize is related to a certain Hibiki. But that's breaking the 4th wall here.

"I got what I needed from this town. I'm sure the portal is on the outskirt of it too, I was very close when I arrived."
Shiki Misaki has posed:
"OK, so, looks like when we got shipped here express delivery, some surplus stocks of all those Noise might have come along with the ride. So, uh, might want to do something about that if we don't want people giving us the stinkeye."

So said Hanekoma, apparently. So Shiki- who is not currently here yet- is busy trying to find these annoyances. Consider it a public service. Wait, no, better idea:

"Mission: eliminate the Noise in Bodhum. You have all day. Fail, and... I dunno, someone else might handle it. You definitely /won't/ be Erased, because no-one can hurt you any more~"

So as Shiki searches, people who are already bustin' up on the beach might find themselves having to clear off because ~they're coming out of the water~.

Small scale incursions of monsters are not, as the people of the Traverse area know, a big thing to worry about, and usually only a result of new world shards appearing. So, even if they show up, surely adventurers will be there to handle it. Problem is, these aren't... well, normal Heartless.

Anyone on the beach, whatever they're doing, will notice the spontaneous appearence of a small mob of the new arrivals. Seemingly looking like regular, albeit rather large and brightly coloured, frogs and crabs, they begin to half-warp half-scuttle out of small, skull-shaped blue sigils that are appearing on the shore. Except unlike regular large animals, they are all distinctly lacking in certain key limbs and body parts- legs and claws- which are instead replaced by bright, animated streaks of colour like living tattoos.

Ladies and gentlemen, you've got some Orchefrogs and Carcinoskas to deal with.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
With Morgan having to leave, Reize had bidded her farewell. With the older woman being the person that he was going to guide to Midgar, Reize figured that it was about time that they left the beach.
After all, it is no point in being there anymore.
The strangest thing, however, was that Taka had left without saying a word. Reize literally turned around and he was alreay gone. This has left him a bit uneasy regarding the guy, but maybe he just got shy of all of the cootiebearers and left.
However, while the boy continues to wander along, he mentions, "Don't worry, Tifa! We will get to Midgar soon!" He reaches to his side to pull out his crumpled map. "With my trusty map, we shall find our way there!" Pocketing it once more, he continues to leave the shoreline until....
The boy hears scuttling.
He turns to face the shore, where crabs and frogs are appearing. "Oh hey! Crabs and frog----.."
The pendant glows in warning.
Reize takes the momnt to look over their features. A lot of limbs are missing and they seem strangely designed.
"Heartless?!"
He reaches to his sides and pulls out both of his boomerangs. He slides his foot forward, shifting into a fighting stance. "...This isn't good. Tifa, uh, it looks like we'll have to fight these things!"
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart heard the scuttling as well. Well, she's fought a few of those getting here too... well not these in particular, but she knows how to handle monsters at least. Moving to box so she holds it under one arm, she rolls the right fist in position, ready to punch out the first one that gets too close "Don't worry about me, take care of yourself too."

If anything, Tifa's confident about her fighting abilities. She doesn't like hitting on people, but these monsters aren't worth any sympathy from her either. She lowers herself carefully, so she can put her box of groceries down carefully. Better be prepared, her movements would get hindered by holding that box after all, and underestimating opponents its a quick way to pain or worse.
Shiki Misaki has posed:
The beach: you try to leave, but it just keeps pullin' ya back.

Or maybe that's the lurking terror.

There are quite a few of these things just sort of watching and glaring and judging you with their tiny, shiny eyes, and they care not for your foolish groceries. Right now, though, they're... kind of just standing there. Then, something odd happens.

For a moment, it looks as if, should you blink, there's a lot more of the things. In fact, they've kind of doubled in number... and then just as soon it's gone again. Maybe it was your imagination.

Then popping up out of the water come a bunch of... little things. Tiny, blobby things that look sort of like musical notes. First two pop out of the water, then four, six, eight, ten. Lots of little tiny Orchesprogs here to join the party.

Some distance away, walking away from Traverse Town, Shiki rests on her knees and squints over towards the beach.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
With one blink it goes from a few to...
HOLY CRAP THEY JUST MULTIPLIED!
They actually doubled! ...or not. "Uhh..." The boy has a huge sweatdrop appearing over his head. As the frogs are starting to get ready to join the party, Reize looks over towards Tifa. A nod is given her way.
Then, he faces the monsters. "Alright, time to take care of you guys!" He lunges forward, then he swings his arm out, releasing the boomerang to arc along the air. When the boomerang winds, it swings out to arc at the creatures. "Yaaaah!"
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart is a close range fighter, so she doesn't have much choice but stand back and wait for them to get closer... although she is a bit worried as they multiply, she also hope they are as weak as they are small, really. She frowns, and watches Reize take in the first shot, taking her fighting stance to block out any other kind of incoming attacks they might throw at her.
Scar has posed:
With Taka having left some time ago, he isn't around when the crabs and frogs start appearing. And appearing. And appearing. Of course, 'Taka' hadn't left at all, he was observing from a distance. And seeing the Noise start to appear, the Shadow Lord is struck by inspiration...
While Reize and Tifa take on the Noise, there's the sound of something running towards them from behind, running pretty quickly at that. It sounds like some sort of animal coming after them. Another Noise perhaps? It isn't until the brown blur streaks past that they get a good look at it. It's... a lion? Yes, a dark-maned lion, leaping ahead of the duo and swiping a clawed paw at the nearest crab. More to send a message to them, but it seems to be enough to cause the entire mass of Noise to stop momentarily. It's then that a pillar of flame bursts upwards from a particularly thick section of frogs, singing a few of the little things as the lion takes a few steps back.
"Are you alright?!" he barks to the couple. Yes, the lion talks. "Are either of you injured?"
Hmm... his voice sounds familiar, but where... He even /looks/ slightly familiar... It's probably nothing, though, right? Ah, but within the mind of the lion, Scar's grin is wide and predatory. Convince the two of them he's an ally, and make it easier for him to manipulate the two later...
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Funny thing.

Hitting the Noise works on a certain level, but it doesn't seem to stop their effectiveness, as such. It's certainly registering against them, but it seems as if things would be a lot more effective if there was a certain something to you that currently isn't.

Almost on cue, that is when a rather oddly dressed young lady- and a plush black cat mirroring her pace- run up to the brewing fight, giving the gaggle of Noise a glare. And, for some reason, this all feels so familiar to her.

"Ugh! I hope this will work. Quick, there's no time to explain right now!" Yeah, really familiar. She pulls out a small black pin from inside her jacket, one marked with a funky skull design. "Touch the pin, form some pacts with me?! That will help you!"

Also, you'd better do it quickly, because now the Noise are agitated and they're coming for you! The Orchefrogs are only too happy to spit bubbles and give you a nasty, skeletal frog kick in the face, and the Carcinoskas are just going to start getting everywhere to snip at people. The Orchesprogs, well, they're just going to start getting everywhere.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
Well, this is a bit ... not good. Not good at all. A look of horror comes across the boy's face when he finds that the boomerang's strike did not entirely faze them. When he reaches to catch the weapon, he can see that they are all coming in place.
A lion comes down out of nowhere and he attacks the monsters. "Whoa!!" As the lion strikes, the boy looks over him and he takes a step back. However, when the lion addresses him and Tifa, confusion marks his features.
"Whoa! A talking lion!" His ahoge flips up, amazed as the boy is. Reize turns his head to see the familiar woman from the night before, who did not bother to help. A frown curls on his face, "Her again.." He mutters thoughtfully. He looks over at the mess. "It's getting worse!"
But then, a woman sows up with a black pin. When she presents the pin, he yelps and he looks at Tifa, "Let's do what she says!" The boy running from the attacking beasts, narrowly able to avoid the bubbles as they graze along his side.
"GAH!!!"
Quickening his pace, he reaches over towards the black pin that the stranger holds up.
It is an emergency!
Touch!
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart blinks at the appearance of the large lion... a lion that talks to. Okay... well there was a gargoyle the other day, so maybe its not that ridiculous in this new world. If anything, Tifa adapts rapidly to the situations at hand ~_~ "No, we're fine, thanks for the help." Seeing the 'bubble bullets' shot their way though, she understands its probably not a good idea to stick around... and the few she kicked out of the way don't seem to even have felt it either.

Turning around, she takes off after Reize, an arm extending down to the sand's level to pick up her box. Even if it looks heavy, she seems to lift it pretty easily too. She blinks at the new girl. "PAct? What?" Well Reize already lunged to it anyway, so she can see what happens, while moving to a more 'relative' safety. "What are these things?"
Scar has posed:
At Shiki's arrival, Scar looks a bit surprised for a second or two, but quickly brushes it under the rug, so to speak. The Pacts... Well, he doesn't need it, but he might as well play the part for now, sell the story to the group before him. "Noise," he responds to Tifa. "I don't know more than that, don't ask me. But do as she says for now, trust me."
Trust me. Trust me so I can use it against you. Scar lifts a paw and touches the pin in Reize's hand, knowing exactly what comes next. He's thankful he was able to beat Tifa to the punch here. One step closer to getting what he wants already... /Marvelous/! A few days of working alongside Reize and he'll have him twisted around his little finger, for sure...
Shiki Misaki has posed:
"...suit yourself...!" Shiki says, just glad that she's got /someone/ to pact with under the circumstances. Once we've got this sorted out, it'll be plain to see for everyone- /including/ that talking lion guy who Shiki will need to have words with- that these bizarre creatures aren't duplicated, but modulating through slightly different frequencies of reality, which you can now match.

Fortunately, these are mostly chump Noise, so it should be pretty easy to watch Tifa's back /and/ churn up the surf.

Whoever heard of frogs at the beach, anyway? Taking out the big ones even causes their Sprogs to check out in advance, although Shiki's making a habit- or rather, Mr. Mew is, as Shiki stands back and mimes his movements- to take out each of them, cutting their tails off with kitty paw slashes.

Let's erase some Noise!
Reize Seatlan has posed:
The frequency of the atmosphere starts to change for him. Reality, in a way, begins to shape itself into something new and interesting. The Noise, Scar mentioned, are the threats that they'll have to deal with. Both hands tighten its grip to the boomerangs.
He looks over towards Scar and Shiki, "Alright, let's do this!" The young boy is already on the move, winding his foot back to kick out a burst of sand on the <span class=" bold_fg_g bg_n rabs.

/NOW ENTERING: CRAB BATTLE!/</span>

This is the toughest battle that Reize will have to face. The creature is significantly smaller than the boy, so he'll have to rely on his other tactics. Reaching along his bag, the boy whips out a rope and he ties it to a knot.
The rope swings along his hand, then he quickly smacks the rope against the crab.

Scar has posed:
Scar would be grinning like an idiot inside, if anyone could see him. So simple... touch the pin and form a Pact with Reize, then kill him later. Too simple! ...And of course, it was. Nothing happened, a look of confusion sweeping over him for a moment, before being quickly buried. No Pact? But how?! ...The girl! His gaze turns to Shiki, almost glaring at her for a second, before he breaks off and returns to the Noise. Sure, he can give them orders, but he needs it to look believable... Simply order them to mock attack him, perhaps? If they avoid him, it'd look suspicious... But if someone notices them holding back, it would look worse. Agh, enough thinking, he needs to act!
"I do hope your little plan will work," he says to Shiki, facing towards the Noise and lowering himself into a crouch, ready to pounce. "You /seem/ to be the expert, just what do you have planned?"
This is terrible. With the pact gone, he's going to have to be careful with his abilities, lest they potentially pick up on just how 'powerful' his attacks are compared to theirs. Of course, he also can't use any of his /really/ hard-hitting abilities. The moment he lets of any hint of darkness, he can be sure that they'll come down on him hard, and that's the last thing he wants. Same with Banzai, Shenzi and Ed. Best leave /those/ bumbling idiots out of it, he's already go these idiots to deal with...
Shiki Misaki has posed:
"It's simple!" Shiki says to Scar. "Just stomp 'em and make sure you don't get swarmed!"

"Hope you guys are ready to die!" she shouts, deciding to give these Sprogs the quick treatment by scratching on the enamel surface of her pink and purple Earthshake pin. Then concentrating on the image of all those Noise getting sand in their little beady eyes, and a quick call of "Watch your feet, okay?" she causes the sand and shoreline to shake!

This might bounce some of those crabs and frogs helplessly up into the air so Reize can easily whack and smash 'em, not to mention provide an opening for a powerful pounce.

"Don't just stand there," Shiki says, although that's kind of ironic given that's just what she's doing, albeit with occasional swings and swipes. "We've gotta erase these things before they cause trouble for people."
Reize Seatlan has posed:
It is perhaps for the best that Priel is deciding to join this time. The last time they underwent a situation with the Heartless, she merely watched. While she is helping them this time, Reize cannot help but to be a bit more wary of her. Scar, however, is proving to be very trustful! The guy seems like a very nice man.
As Shiki calls for the group to watch their feet, the boy responds, "Got it!" He springs back from the current position on the ground, then he sees the frogs and the crabs getting launched into the air.
"GOT IT!"
Booomerangs spread as his arms position in a martial arts-style stance. The young fighter springs off of his feet, spinning in a corkscrew. With his light leg windin out for a spining crescent in mid-air, the other foot comes out along with that spin.
"SPARRONDO!"
That last kick seeks to smack the group and have them sent to Scar for a strike while a couple would be sent to Priel for her fireball.
"INCOMING!"
Scar has posed:
Well, with Shiki and Reize taking care of the Sprogs, that leaves the Frogs and Carcin Noise to be dealt with. He /could/ take care of the Carcins, but he doesn't want to let on he knows things about the Noise. Of course, playing the idiot would mean he would have to deliberately poison himself, given the frog's poisonous skin. Hmm... His eyes narrow, before he makes his decision. It's /far/ from what he wants to do, for sure, but he'll just have to hope someone has an antidote or spell ready. He leaps into the air with a loud roar, fangs bared at his chosen foe, the Ochrefrogs. Ugh, this isn't going to taste good. He pounces, pinning the frog down before hesitating just for a split second, almost having second thoughts, but then biting down and trying to tear it apart anyway. No going back now, and he can feel the poison kicking in. Luckily, he doesn't have to act out the shakiness that comes with it, and it's obvious to everyone that something happened. Now, part two. Play the victim...
"Ngh, p=poison?" he stammers, wobbling back towards the group on steadily-weakening legs. He would mentally congratulate himself, if it wasn't for his legs giving out as his strength is sapped. Turns out he didn't know just /how/ potent that poison is, after all. Oops.
Shiki Misaki has posed:
As Noise start to go down, they disintegrate into crackling, unsteady lines like old TV static.

Shiki makes a little 'wait-' sound when she realises what Scar's about to do, once to wince once he gets poisoned. And she didn't bring any healing pins, either. Not a good first impression... then again, she hadn't fought these things before /either/, so. Just gonna have to make arrangements later.

Looks like we're going to be able to catch these guys on the bounce, though, she thinks. Knocking the various Noise for a loop, putting them into the air allows Reize and Priel to juggle them with their own attacks, knocking the stuffing out of them before they have the chance to hit the ground. Then Mr. Mew can take things over and catch them when they land, cracking crabshells and squashing Sprogs that are left over.

"I didn't know that one was poisonous..." she says warily, but ready to finish these things up. Maybe if we're lucky there might even be a Pin left over.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
After kicking the Noise towards both Scar and Priel, the boy lands on to a kneeling position. Getting up just as quickly, he turn his head over towards the lion, who gotten himself poisoned. A look of horror comes across his face, "Gah! Hey! Mr. Lion! I'll help you!"
The monsters lose importance to the boy. The safety of their ally in arms is even more important.
He runs towards his comrade and he kneels beside him. "Luckily, I have this." The boy reaches into his bag to find something. Let's see...
Bottle of acid, no. Chuck
A flame bomb? No. Chuck
Oh hey, his hammer. Nope. Chuck.

Got it! Reize manages to find a vial of an antidote used to treat poison. "Here you go.." The boy reaches over to uncork the cap and pour it to the lion's mouth.
Oh, right. All of those objects that were tossed? They were flying right at the Noise.
Scar has posed:
With his poisoning now cured, Scar uses his returning strength to get back to his feet, laughing to himself in his own head. Oh, how easy it is to play these people like a fiddle! He might not even need to wait long to try and kill them! He gives a nod in thanks to Reize, focussing a few thunderbolts aimed at the Frog Noise. Play the part and play it well...
"/Thank/ you, you have no idea how unpleasant that was," he replies. "And my name is Scar."
Scar. Future King of the Pride Lands. He had to resist the urge to blurt that out to Reize. Given how easy it was to manipulate Reize, he might use him to eliminate Mufasa and Simba, then eliminate Reize as well. Maybe get the hyenas to do it... Or a stampede? Maybe flood a gorge? Or throw him off a cliff? But those are thoughts for another time. Now, he just needs to play the part a little bit longer, his lightning spells striking the frogs down where they stand.
Somewhere, a GM is probably very, very annoyed with him.
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Mr Mew looks up and flinches in surprise. He's got to run around like crazy! Reize is throwing a lot of things! Don't get squashed, now.

AND NOW THERE'S FIRE. Shiki's poor stuffed cat which is animated by we're-not-sure-what runs back to her, thankfully NOT on fire, where he's scooped up quickly. Reize, your items may be a little damaged by fire.

Thankfully, that takes care of it. Noise erased!

Shiki even rummages around in the sand and manages to pick up a little pin with orange and rhinestones on there- a Tektite. Nice. Well, would be nice if she had anywhere to trade it in.

"That looks like a wrap."
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Noise erased! No second rounds for you, so don't worry. Shiki is rummaging around in the sand and picks a Tektite up, and pockets it without a second thought. Mr Mew is squeezing saltwater out of his legs, as well.

"Phew," Shiki says, her hair bouncing as she turns around. Both of her hands are behind her back. "I'm glad that worked."

"Sorry to just barge in like that, but as far as I know, you have to be partners to fight the Noise. Some of you guys managed to get on fine without it, though! Hey, Mr. Lion, are you feeling better now too?"
Reize Seatlan has posed:
Upon Scar noting that his affliction is ailed, Reize brightens to a smile and he finally gets the name of Scar, "Oh! Pleased to meet you Scar, I'm Reize Seatlan!" He extends a hand at the Lion, looking very pleased.
When Shiki finally steps back onto view, Reize exhales a sigh, "I see. The Noise are at least defeated now. What are they, exactly? Are they like the Heartless?" Then, he looks back towards Scar and back to Shiki.
Oh, right. The partner thing. Reize quirks an eyebrow. "...Partners? What is this partner thing about exactly? I'm confused."
Scar has posed:
Well, that's /that/ taken care of. With the Noise gone, that's step one of Scar's plan enacted. He'll deal with the no doubt angry GM later. Still, he's not really suited for physical combat. He stretches and gives his neck a shake, before turning to face the others. "Why, I've never felt better," he replies, a smug grin on his face. "As I said to the boy, my name is Scar. /Delighted/ to meet you, though I don't think I caught your name..."
Good, it seems they never noticed just how effective his attacks were. Just a little more working with them and he can use them as he sees fit... Still, Reize gets a bit of an odd look. After all, he can't exactly shake hands, what's he supposed to do? Just stick his paw in Reize's? "So!", he says, turning away from Reize to face Shiki. "You do seem quite knowledgeable about all this. Something you care to share with the rest of the class, hmm?"
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Shiki headtilts, and then says "Oh, right! I suppose I should probably explain that first, huh?"

She thinks for a moment, but then glances to the side a little bit. "As far as I can tell, they're similar... I mean, both of them showed up together all over the place when my world was destroyed. I think that mob of them was left over from when I got pulled over to here."

"Where I come from, people like me have to erase those Noise to prevent them from making trouble for people who can't see them." Omitting, as she does, mentions of anything like what 'people like her' entails and why people can't see them, of course.

That's a good question, actually. How /is/ a lion supposed to shake hands? You imagine this little ... floating in the air between Reize and Scar for a moment.

"Having said that," Shiki says, putting her hands on her hips, "Maybe you know some of this, already?" to Scar. "I was kind of surprised to hear you mention the Noise by name. How did /you/ find out about them? I didn't see many talking lions where I come from."
Reize Seatlan has posed:
...
...
!

"Oh, right." Reize pulls his hand back, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, "Eh heh heh... forgot about that little detail." He muses, then he looks over Shiki while she explains about the Noise. As she goes over what theywere, Reize gives a frown. "...Ngh.." A sadden look crosses his features regarding another place destroyed.
When Shiki asks about Scar's knowledge of the Noise, Reize lifts a hand up to ask his question again, but he falls silent for now. He'll let Scar explain his end first. In fact, Reize does turn to face the lion.
Scar has posed:
"Oh, come now dear," Scar says, rolling his eyes as he almost circles Shiki. "We can't be expected to spill /everything/ at our first meeting, can we? Whatever happened to secrets amongst /friends/?"
Leaping onto a conveniently nearby rock, Scar flops himself down onto it, coming to about eye-level with the pair now, those green eyes of his glancing over the two. Perhaps familiar green eyes...
"But, if you absolutely must know, I suppose I can share. But it'll have to be our little sercret."
He pauses, before turning to Shiki. "You're right, there's not many lions wandering around here. Or perhaps you just don't see them? I don't mean to boast," he begins, his voice taking on an air of self-importance as he places a paw on his chest, his mind already working out the story to tell. "But I pride myself on my ability to move unnoticed /regardless/ of the location. It just so happened that I came upon a peculiar couple talking who mentioned Noise and this beach, so I decided to take a look."
He then grins, tilting his head towards the pair. "And it's a good thing I did, wouldn't you agree? Aside from my little mishap, we make /quite/ a good team..."
Shiki Misaki has posed:
This is a very strange situation. Shiki is getting the weirdest vibe off of this guy, and considers offhand using the ol' player pin to see what's really going on inside that head of his when his back is turned. Hey, we're Players, we can do that kind of thing!

Oh, you give a kid a little power...

Nonetheless, she takes this explanation at face value. Even...

"A couple of people?" Shiki asks, looking a little brighter. "Can you remember what they looked like?"

She explains to Reize, "I'm looking for my friends... I got seperated from them a while ago, before that even happened. I need to make sure they're alright..."
Reize Seatlan has posed:
Scar reveals about his knowledge of the Noise, which was essentially listening in on other people. For the most part, that does work. He muses thoughtfully, giving a nod. That is a good explanation, overall.
"Yeah! We do make a great team!" The boy looks over Shiki, who seems a bit brighter about something.
Oh, so it looks like she may have found potential friends. Especially with her explanation about getting separated. After a thoughtful look, the question still nags on him, "...Could you explain about the partner thing a bit more?"
Scar has posed:
Scar grins as Shiki accepts his explanation, but quickly covers it with an apologetic look and an overly-dramatic paw to the forehead. "Oh, my dear, I'm sorry to say that I wasn't able to get a good look at them. You see, the crowds were too thick, and if I tried to get a better look, I'd have given myself away. I do hope it wasn't your friends, that would be /dreadful/..."
Hamming it up, Scar-style! Still, Reize is lapping it up like... well, like a kitten laps up milk. At his question about the Pacts, Scar turns to her, seeing just how much she really knows...
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Shiki looks a little dismayed at that, but she's familiar enough with the idea of not being able to make people out in a crowd well enough, so again, takes it at face value. Next question:

"Ah. Well, back where I came from, everyone I know was... well, we were kind of in a competition! And so we partnered up to work together... that, and the Noise are like, literally on a different wavelength to normal people! So when you partner up with someone, you can adjust yourself to be on their level and hit 'em where it hurts. I think that was only a temporary pact, because I can't feel it there any more, but..."

She smiles. "It was good while it lasted! You're a pretty kid guy."

"Oh! I heard Mr. Lion's name, but I don't know if I caught yours...?"
Reize Seatlan has posed:
The smile brightens considerably when she explains about the information. So, Noise occurs, and the people partner up to stop them. The Noise operates under this 'wavelength'. It is a temporary pact? Well, that is interesting!
Reize grins, "Thanks! Oh! I'm Reize Seatlan, an adventurer!" The young man looks over Shiki, extending a hand her way, "Pleased to meet you!" The young adventurer looks around, "I was supposed to be escorting a lady to find her place called Midgar." He muses, "Though, it looks like I'll have to get to the town for supplies again." He sighs.
Scar has posed:
Formal introductions, is it? Well, he supposes he could let that much slip without giving too much away... "Oh, giving out titles, are we? Well, for what it's worth, I'm brother to the king of the Pride Lands, but we seem to have lost our way back there." He sighs, though it's hard to tell if he's sighing because he was shut out of being king or because he can't travel back yet. He does glance over to Shiki, though. "Such an odd game you play... I don't quite understand why you would want to take part in it. What exactly do you win?"
"It seems I'm being rather useless today, I'm afraid," he says, shooting an apologetic look towards Reize. "I can't say I've heard of this 'Midgar', either. Oh, but I'll tell you what I can do. I'll keep a little ear out for anything. And if I find it, I'll run right along and let you know, hm?"
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Shiki plays the part, but she's not naive enough to say 'well I'm a dead person and this is my quest to not be dead any more', so she goes for the half-truth and says "Like I said, Noise cause trouble for normal people, so people who can, do! And we compete to erase them, and get... around Shibuya... faster, and... help... people..."

And she finally slows to a halt and says, "Out."

Because it's kind of hard reminding yourself you're the only player left right now and everything you were familiar with was obliterated.

She shakes Reize's hand, a little half-heartedly now, and adds in, "Sounds good. I was doing a bit of exploring too."
Reize Seatlan has posed:
There is a tinge of worry for Shiki. She seemed a bit more lively earlier, but everything feels half-hearted now. There is a look of concern for her, but when Scar mentions about his title, "Wow! Really?!" He considers Scar for a moment, "You weren't useless, you helped us out! I am glad that you came about!" His antenna hair flips back as he gives a beaming look.
The boy lowers his head slightly, shaking his head. "I am trying to find a few more people myself..." His eyes cast low, "...It's odd, truth be told..." He reaches alonghis side to procure his tarot deck. Thoughtfully, he grips it tightly, but he dismisses it.
His eyes drift towards Shiki, "I am certain that you'll find who you are looking for in your journey." The boy brightens. "Knight's Vow #14: Even a small star shines in darkness."
Scar has posed:
Hmm, so Shiki's just a 'good samaritan'? Something about it seems off, but he can't quite put his claw on it... Reize seems really into it, though, and then an idea forms in his head. "Ooh, yes. But, alas, I will never be king myself if my brother gets his way, I'm afraid... Oh, but you don't want to hear about /that/, I'm sure. Cut off from my home as we are, it's not like we could do anything, anyway."
Knight's Vow? ...Reize had /better/ not break into a Sermon, Scar had enough of that with Faruja. He swears, that rat isn't even fit to be a snack. "Well, it makes sense, dear boy. Strength in numbers, no? Although there are those who would prefer to have reliable, trustworthy companions. After all, what's easier to deal with? A mass of acquaintances or a handful of highly-loyal friends?"
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Shiki giggles a little bit. "That's an interesting thing to say. A little weird, but... a good kind of weird."

She's still kind of shaken by having to consider things, though. All of a sudden, she feels kind of uncomfortable standing here. Ordinarily she'd loop Reize around her finger and get him to show her around, but given that he doesn't know this place any better than her and she's suddenly feeling a rather significant bit of ennui creep into her bones, she is rapidly beginning to feel as if she needs some personal space for no good reason.

"Anyway, the problem's been solved, so I... guess I should go! I'm going to try and scope this place out, so I'll leave you two to it, you seem to know one another, maybe I'll see you around?"

She's already stepping off.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
A sigh is given by the boy. Reize runs his hand along the back of his head, and then he places his tarot into his pocket. With those thoughts behind him, he faces Scar for with a brightened smile. "Yeah!" A grin is formed, "A handful of friends..." He adds with that cheerful smile, "Knight's Vow #06: Forge allies whereever you go. The bond is stronger than an empire." He brings both of his hands behind his head.
"With allies for a common cause, a lot can be done..." He gives a very knowing smile.
However, when Shiki tries to leave...
"Oii! Hey wait!"
His eyes narrow briefly towards the girl, his cheeks puffing a bit with annoyance. His antenna hair even points at her, "Mada mada..." He places his finger over towards his chin, rubbing it, "You know, you know both of our names, but you never introduced yourself." He frowns, "That's a bit rude.."
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart wanders over back to the beach from Traverse Town. After the previous Noise attack, she had to get her supplies back. A few of the bubbles shots ended up hitting her box, breaking many bottles. She shakes her head as she comes back, lightly grumbling to herself about stupid noise that should be staying as auditive rather and physical pests, but otherwise not too shaken out of her usual upbeat-ness.

She comes back to meet Reize, who still promised her to lead her back to Midgar. She still doesn't know what she's getting into. She notices the small group is still pretty much intact though, the lion and the young girl she crossed last time still being there "So what's going on?"
Scar has posed:
With Tifa's return, Scar glances over to her, lying on the rock as he is. He /was/ about to ask for Shiki's name, but Reize filled that with him. With him following that Knight's code so rigidly, he might be easier to manipulate than he thinks...
"A good point, Reize," Scar grins, then turning into a mocking hurtful expression. "You weren't going to take our names and run from us, were you? Oh, it would simply break my heart to miss the chance to make new friends..."
Shiki Misaki has posed:
Give me a reason to stay, thinks Shiki, in the back of her mind. Give me a reason not to just cut and run, because if you /tell/ me to stay I'll stay, but if you don't I'm just going to run off somewhere and wallow in self-pity...

And Reize gives her a reason to stay.

"Oh!" And a good one, too. Shiki blushes a little. "I'm sorry! I didn't, did I? My name's Shiki. Shiki Misaki."

Tifa comes back, and she drops the grey mood instantly. "Hii! We managed to get rid of those Noise in a flash, no problem! Even managed to get a little pin out of it." She holds up the tektite. Come to think of it, there was probably a little bit of munny there too, but Shiki hasn't picked the little blue and yellow balls up yet because she doesn't know... what they are.

She does, admittedly, sort of tune Scar out a bit because he's saying weird things. "Sorry," she says, "Guess I'm still a little wigged out from... y'know."
Reize Seatlan has posed:
As Shiki finally introduces herself, Reize gives her a satisfying smile. To Reize, that's better. No sense in keeping people out of the loop. Unlike a certain person, who had never introduced herself. Where /did/ she go anyway? Ah well.
The return of Tifa is noted, the boy waves a hand her way as he cheerfully announces, "We beat the Noise!"
Nevertheless, back to Shiki. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Shiki." He brightens to smile.
"Knight's Vow #2: Let's work together for a peaceful world. I am certain that we will run across each other from time to time." Though, his look becomes thoughtful and curious as Shiki introduces the pin. "Ooh, wait, what is a pin, exactly?"
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart walks past Shiki back to where Reize is standing, her free hand giving a pat on top of Shiki's head. It wasn't meant as a demeaning gesture or anything, its rather friendly from the barmaid, smiling kindly "Good job. I watched most of it from over there, my attacks were pretty much useless so I stayed back." She points to her box "I had to go resupply too, those things destroyed my box." She reaches into the box, and tosses out wrapped sandwichs to everyone present. Turkey, chicken or ham sandwich, take your pick here.

"Thought you'd be hungry too. Nice to meet you, I'm Tifa Lockhart." Even Scar gets a sandwich too, although she doesn't know if he's able to open the wrapping on his own, she's ready to help out if need is of course. She nods to Reize's question, wondering what those pins are for as well. "Isn't it just decoration? I'm pretty sure I've seen some of those pins before in my world." She blinks as Priel makes herself known suddenly "Where did you come from?" She offers a sandwich nonetheless c.c
Shiki Misaki has posed:
"This one really is a useless trinket, actually," Shiki says to Priel and Reize, who just came back outta nowhere wow. "It doesn't even do anything, but I used to know people who would trade it for some pretty sweet items. I'll keep hold of it in case I see them again."

"The ones I used help me to fight. They're how I used those psychs to rock the Noise. You might have seen these kind of things before... there's a trick to using them as F-ighting A-ids rather than F-ashion A-ccessories."

She gratefully takes a sandwich, but wrinkles her nose because man, Priel is really getting up it. "So hey," she says, "What do you say we all go look around that town over there together, then? It's better to hang around with friends." Pointing to Bodhum.
Reize Seatlan has posed:
Priel's words catches up to Reize. Huh, so she is still here. Reize only affords the woman with a frown. Nevertheless, the boy is wary of her presence. More and more, he is disliking her. His antenna hair points at her, almost like a serpent's fang.
Tifa brings his attention back to catch his attention. When she tosses a sandwich his way, he reaches to grasp the wrapped meal, "Thanks, Tifa!" The boy is rather cheerful.
"Oh! I see!" The boy muses, "So that was how you managed to create the earthquake from earlier! That's pretty neat!"
With Shiki's suggestion of going to Bodhum, the bo smiles and he nods, "Yeah! It would be nice to get away from this area for a bit to somewhere... that should hopefully be more peaceful?" It's odd how the parts that were supposed to be peaceful are some of the more dangerous areas.
Tifa Lockhart has posed:
Tifa Lockhart smiles kindly "Well I thought it was some kind of magic, we have spells that do similar things where I come from." In this world, its another story, but some things don't seem *too* different at least. "I just came back from the town, but there's probably things I haven't seen there. I only came shopping after all." she points to her box again, its filled with bottles of various kinds of drinks, some food items, ustensiels and plates, and other essentials to furnish a home of some sort. Althought gotta wonder why she needs that much alcohol.

If they go back, maybe she can use Reize to carry a few things for her too, who knows.
Shiki Misaki has posed:
"Yeah, when I say exploring with friends, that means you have to qualify as a friend. Hate to give you the brush-off, but you're just a little too... everything, girl," Shiki replies with just a tiny little grin of her own.

"Come on, guys," she says, pretty obviously pulling on Reize and Tifa's wrists. "Why don't we go out and take this place for a s-pin?"

And yes, she will just saunter off and leave Priel behind!
