Out in the world... but where~? |
What is the dark;
shadows around you,
why not take heart
in the new day?
Ever and always.
Always and ever.
No-one can promise a dream for you,
Time gave both darkness and dreams to you.

Recent Events
With the recent arrival of Seith into Cornelia, Morgan has been jolted out of her self-built bastion of stagnant comfort. Now, more than ever, she knows there is more to her life -- and memories -- than what she has forced herself to believe. Even after the Shadow Lord's departure and desperate plea for her "to not remember..", Morgan is determined to pursue this matter.
Long story short, Morgan is sick of being in the dark, and now prepares to set out into the world to find more pieces of the puzzle.
She may not like what she finds, but it all starts with Seith.
Character Summary
Known in the beginning as Morgaine Faelwen, this Elven woman came into the pre-Heartless world a sweet tempered and gentle girl in the recluse monarchy of Elfheim. Following the cursed sleep of the elven Prince and the ensuing calamity, Morgaine had been introduced to aggressive magic by way of her dogmatic father. This decision brought on not personal safety, but profound danger: the workings of Dark magic attracted the attention of the Shadow Lord Malachy and his minions. Morgaine's parents fell, and so too had some of her peers. Thus began Morgaine's forced service as a Shadow Lord's puppet...
(To ask her of this experience, the Elf would both be unable to recollect much. Even the concept of time has escaped her...)
Following a most unexpected salvation (see: BG), Morgaine was ushered into the Kingdom of Cornelia and it is there that she continues to recover. Present day -- known now in Common tongue as Morgan Albaste -- she merely wishes to live functionally, but her past continues to haunt her by way of her unexpected repertoire of sinister magic and a carefully veiled wellspring of fear.
All things considered, though she has been through some nasty mojo, Morgan is neither an angst-fest or an anti-social woman. She is in fact rather peaceful, with most of her demons kept solely to herself. She considers Cornelia to be her 'home base', but is not above wandering.
Imagery
A gallery showcasing artwork of Morgan; either my own work, or brilliant commissioned pieces. To cover all bases, the following images are used with her predecessor concept (Fiell) on another MU*.
[1] - Artwork © Lires @ Deviantart! A crisp, clean commission that showcases Morgan in all of her beauteous, tea-gulping glory.
[2] - Artwork © Cashile @ Deviantart! The first-ever commissioned image of Morgan's overall concept, done by this uber-talented artist.
[3] - Artwork © Clap-san @ Deviantart! Morgan's profile pic, full-body. So elegant~
[4] - My own work! Colored upper-bust of Morgan, looking moody.
[5] - My own work! Finagled this one in MS Paint on a whim... Morgan during the Malachy days when he used her to dish out chaos! Hopefully she looks as sinister as I intended... she's supposed to be reclining upon her side upon 'some obscure surface'. Please bear with anatomical errors.
[6] - Commissioned work by the amazing Arcbuncle! A graceful, confident Morgan getting ready to kick (mm, freeze?) some ass. Love this! <3
[7] - My own work. Here's an oldie but a goodie that originates from a long-defunct FF/KH crossover MU* (where I played Morgan/Malachy v.1). I did the line-art back in 2006 but revisited it present-day to tweak and darken it because really, it still applies perfectly to the Malachy/Morgan dynamic. Contrary to the mood and title, these two were not lovers; to Malachy, Morgan was simply a very useful doll. Had there been an attraction? Malachy took his answer to the grave, and Morgan cannot remember a thing. To note, too; Morgan's black hair does not /appear/ black in this piece, as I did not want to blot out the lines.
[8] - Wow! Drawn by the amazing Keelerleah; a beautiful commission that has been gifted by the player behind Zerum. From left to right: Morgan, Seith, Morrighan. Thank you so much, Zerum!
