Profile

Ryusei is the eldest child in the current generation of the Isshiki family, an ancient bloodline of Titanic martial artists that migrated to the plains of Shiva during the magitek revolution to aid in the efforts to construct an inhabitable environment for the other races of Galianda, as well as the founders and current heads of Ice Frontier Inc., the one firm to go to when you need to build something in a hostile environment. Like many other heads of the company before her, she was enrolled at Alexander Academy to be prepared for the hardships that come with leading a company that has become such a staple of Shivan life. Living the life of rich entrepeneurs did not spoil the goody two-shoes temperament of the Isshiki family, tempered over centuries, and it showed when Ryusei was enrolled into the school. An incorrigible idealist and believer of justice, Ryusei can't help but get in trouble when she sees people getting bullied or being in need of help overall, but thankfully she can also get out of it quickly thanks to the martial arts style of her family, the Arms of the Sky-Breaking Mountain style.

Character History

When Ryusei was born, the Isshiki family was already settled as one of the most influential families in Galianda. Since when she has memory, the young heiress was forged and tempered for the task of succeeding the current head of the family, her mother Mashiro. While she was jealous of her many younger siblings, who were not loaded with the same responsibility as her and had a somewhat more lenient upbringing, Ryusei was not that angry with her lot, specially when it involved spending time with her mother, the person she loved the most in the world, to learn the family's martial arts style, the Arms of the Sky-Breaking Mountain.

Then, Ryusei became old enough to be enrolled into the Alexander Academy. She didn't think much of it. For her, it was just like what happened to other kids when they enrolled in a school. Of course, the many boys and girls studying at Chocobo didn't think the same. When she enrolled, she became the new 'celebrity' at school. Studies, friends, bullies, boys... It was all so new for her, and Ryusei jumped at the call of all those new experiences. Since she had been taught since she was very young to give her all in everything, studies were not a problem. She even helped others with their homework! Friends, Ryusei made by the lots, and she was always on the lookout for more people to befriend, to the point of declaring that she planned to befriend every single person in the school. Bullies were not a problem, either. Anyone who tried to bully on her or that she caught bullying someone else would quickly be persuaded that it was not a good idea to do so on her watch. And boys... Okay, boys were actually kind of a problem. Mostly because she didn't see what was so cool about dating them. While she had lots of male friends, she had always felt more comfortable when around girls. Even when her mother started dropping hints about preparing for getting a fiancé for herself, Ryusei quickly sidestepped the issue. She didn't find any appeal in the idea.

Years passed, and more and more of her siblings enrolled at the school. And she acended to higher classes, as well. Then, the cataclysm happened. Galianda was fractured into millions of shards that slowly fell into oblivion, and when Ryusei realized what was going on, she found herself lost in a world she didn't know, alone. She looked around... Not a soul nearby. She was unsettled, but deep inside she felt that, at the very least, her family was alive, if not exactly well. Gathering her resolve, she set forth to look for them, intent on finding them and bash the heads of anyone foolish enough to try to stand in her way.

Personality

The Isshiki family have always been a bunch of goody two-shoes with a love for making friends and defending the ideals of justice wherever it was necessary, and in Ryusei's case this was no exception. She just can't sit down and let others do the work, when someone needs help, she goes there as fast as a lightning bolt and offers her help for whatever is needed. This often gets her into trouble with people that may not be wise to face, but she can't be helped there. Seeing someone suffer and do nothing would be against her ethical criteria.

She's also a very loyal friend, capable of going to the end of the world for their sake, and rare is the day when she breaks a promise or fails to keep her word. That said, if she finds out that someone she had given her word to is behaving in an ignoble way, pray that such someone is not you!

She would love to be engaged romantically with someone... However, her interest for that kind of interaction is biased towards girls rather than boys. She hasn't told her mother yet. She's not sure how she's gonna react.

She is also a very big eater, and has a very peculiar fondness for all things made with Chocobo eggs, specially mayonaisse.

Abilities

Racial Trait – Titanic: Ryusei, just like the rest of her family, carries the blood of the Sky-Breaking Mountain in her veins. This makes her very strong, physically, and highly aware of earthquakes and other seismic movements.

Martial Arts: Ryusei, like everyone in her family, has been trained in the Arms of the Sky-Breaking Mountain style, a martial arts style that channels the user's synergy with Titan and its impressive physical strength into deadly blows capable of breaking rocks. And punching people through them, too.

Iron Stomach: No matter what you feed her, from strange dishes to outright poisoned stuff, Ryusei's stomach will never falter. Pity the behemoth who gets in her way when she's hungry...

Strong Heart: Ryusei's heart is peculiarly strong, shining in the darkness with a radiance second only to the Princesses of Heart and some of the strongest followers of the light. This has its disadvantages. Heartless are lured towards her like flies to a candle. However, such a strong heart may hold the aptitude to wield a Keyblade. Will the weapon of legend call to her? Only time will tell!
