Cast of Characters: Zeke, Deidra, Kaydin, Brooklyn, Skyline

Zeke has posed:
Not every day can be on ship, and even Zeke had need of going to land from time to time. Of course right now he was in Traverse looking for news that might help him aid in finding what refugees he could from the fallen shards. That was bad business and he would need to pay the church back dearly for making him miss it.

Ah well. He was out for a walk with a sandwich in hand. Wonderful little thing these 'sandwiches'. Portable, infinite in their variety, and less messy than a full meal.

Then again he wanted something more filling. Plus he'd heard a cafe around here was taking donations to help hte refugees. Sure his last few jobs were less than pleasent, but the pay was well. So why not make it go to something worthwhile?
Brooklyn has posed:
This was so weird. Being able to wander around and not have people even give him a second glance, let alone run screaming from the very sight of him. Brooklyn makes his way towards the cafe in district 1. He's heard lots of good things about it, even for the short amount of time he's actually been here in Traverse Town. He can't do anything to help Manhattan at the moment, and has to find something to take his mind off of it.
Skyline has posed:
The cafe was the first place Skyline had gone off to after her talk with Deidra and Brooklyn. It was there she was given some food, a drink, and realizing she was a refugee, put it on the house. It left an impression! As such, Skyline is, today, making her way toward the establishment once again. This time with a few bits so she could actually pay for what she gets.
Deidra has posed:
Deidra has been having a long month, she's just happy to not be alone She's keeping with the other Gargyoles and looks over to Brooklyn. She wasn't klidding about this world at all, sh really wasn't. The cafe had good food would take whatever money you had and the owner was an interesting man to be sure. "It's never day here, so long as I visited here? This places has always had it been night."
Zeke has posed:
"Strange innit love?" Zeke was lounging on a chair when Deirdra spoke. "Amazing what this place offers as a melting pot really. So many people, cultures... trae. Terribly exciting." He smiled wide. Nevermind he was horrified at the reason most people seemed to be here these days. Take what you can.
Brooklyn has posed:
"Well I suppose that's good on some end." Brooklyn says to Deidra, upon spotting her, "How do we sleep, though? I mean it's not like we can just make ourselves turn to stone."
Skyline has posed:
Getting closer to the cafe, Skyline spots familiar faces, and then another that's not. Human? That's not to bad, hopefully. He's not running in terror from the other two at least. "Hey!" A greeting, a wave to anyone that looks her way, "Thought I recognized you two," but to Zeke? "Though not you. Nice little place isn't it?"
Deidra has posed:
Deidra says "Actually, eventually I get tired and it just happens. You know how you feel when dawn is near. That's the feeling you need to act on. When you feel that you should go find a good perch. I slept here before, Mercade had me passing through here a few times." She frowns "He's been missing since before the Heartless assault happened none of the TDA was able to find him." She looks to Zeke and nods a bit "I don't finf it strange I like it honestly. It's true I met Lamias, demi humans."

She trails off looking over at Skyline as she arrives "Hello, and the owner's an interesting man. He's from another version of a city on earth called Tokyo or so he's said."
Brooklyn has posed:
"Skyline, it's good to see you again!" Brooklyn says, his day brightening up upon spotting her, "Are you adjusting well enough? I know it's a bit on the hard side...I know what it's like to lose a home...Twice, now.." He mutters, as he looks for a place for the group to have a seat.
Skyline has posed:
Skyline gives Brooklyn a nod before having a seat nearby. "Well enough. I was at this place last night, they gave me a bit of food for free and then I even borrowed their roof for a few hours. Didn't look like dawn but.. hey, it worked anyway, I'm not complaining," she muses, not commenting on losing another aerie. Nope. Don't even want to think about it.
Kaydin has posed:
"I knew if I waited long enough, those from manhattan will emerge, those with stronger will." A voice is heard. Kaydin normally wore full armor but this time he wore a sleeveless tunic, with trousers, both black, and is barefoot. He approaches the gargoyles, tilting his head. "I believe I saw you below the city, red one." He says, he held his sword in a reverse grip, blade wrapped in a lengthy black chain as he watches them. "I come to speak to you concerning Manhattan." He says with a neutral expression on his face and his tone was also neutral.
Zeke has posed:
Zeke took a sip from a bottle. It wasn't whiskey or rum, but whatever it was went down good. "I... don't know your kind that well," He admitted as he looked the Gargoyles over. "However if I can do anything. Name it. No charge if you need passage anywhere and I'd only charge for costs if my crew's needed in some other fashion." He'd heard about the fall from refugees. Heard about these Gargoyls that called the place home and it pained him to see such wayward sorts again cast adrift.
Deidra has posed:
Deidra is just relaxing ador niow and nods to Skyline. "I'm still trying to find the rest of the TDA, I need to figure out what's wrong with Will, and as I said Mercades' been missing for a while. Though Riku may be to blame for that." She's about to contiune on when the not a pirate speaks up. "It's appicated..." She trails off again ans she looks Kaydinf or a moment, a snarl escapes her lips as she looks at the Dark Knight. "Speak Quickly Knight of Baron..."
Brooklyn has posed:
Deidra may only be looking at Kaydin, but Brooklyn is upon the unarmored knight before either of the other two gargoyles can react. Neutural tone or not, the red gargoyle was the most hot headed of his group, "Act like I care about anything you have to say." His fist is clenched, and ready to strike, but he doesn't. Goliath would not want him to strike at a human, even this one, at least not without provocation. But at the moment, Brooklyn would give anything to be provoked.

"This place have rules about beating someone within an inch of their very existance?" He asks back to Deidra or Zeke.
Skyline has posed:
This leaves Skyline in a rather confused situation. Baron? Kaydin? She had no idea who or what any of these were, or who the man Brooklyn had, was. She could tell the red gargoyle wanted to maul the armored human though, that much was certain, "... I think I don't have some of the information you all have."
Zeke has posed:
Zeke nodded slow to Brooklyn. "Aye. You'll have town guard on you pretty hard." Then he jerked a thumb in a direction. "There was an ally a few rows back you could cart him off to." He didn't know who this guy was but well along with the nice words he flexed, showing the gaggle of guns he had on his person as well as his sword. "I can tell you whatever he's done it's not breaking his neck over. He was likely the puppet rather than puppetmaster."
Kaydin has posed:
"Yes they do." Kaydin says as Brooklyn comes to him. Despite the charge and the gargoyles wanting to beat him down, he doesnt react, he doesnt even bring his sword to try and defend himself. "Mercade is in Goug, in the slums. The seventh heaven bar there is ran by people who tried to help stop the shadow lords. I have already approached him." Kaydin says before looking to Skyline. "I am a dark knight of Baron, I wield the darkness like one would wield a sword or those firearms in your world. Baron was one of those who helped the shadow lords invade your world and let the heartless consume it. In the end I couldnt let them destroy so many people so on that last day I tried to help defend the portal." He says calmly as he then looks to Zeke.

"I believed my nation could be saved from within. We were once a proud nation, one that only defended itself. But...our king has become off. He has enlisted the help of people that others believe to be fiends, and the heartless. I thought maybe I could convince my nation from within from this evil path. I was naive and may people paid with everything.
Deidra has posed:
Deidra is growling stil l as sh rises up from her place at the table her wings are flaring out as she's nearing Kaydin "Given me one reason to belive you. You are in the employ of baron, helped to destroy our world." Her eyes have turned red. "You have been a servant of the Darkness, for all I know your just setting a trap on the orders of that Dark Elf white Mage."

She not very happy at all and she's lookinc like she's an inch away from ripping Kaydien apart. "Maybe so but I doubt you'll have anything to do with it. I will tell you this only once. Be gone or I will rip you apart with spell and Claw."
Brooklyn has posed:
"Why should I trust you?" Brooklyn says, as he looks back to Zeke. The thought of taking him to the alleyway does sound quite promising, but he doesn't do it yet, "Your people? Your people are still alive. Millions of people from my world aren't. Let me know when the Heartless completely devour your world. Then you can talk to me about your people paying with everything." Brooklyn of course doesn't know for sure if Baron has been absorbed by the Heartless or not. He's just infering based on the fact that they lead the attack upon his home.
Skyline has posed:
Skyline wasn't sure what to think at this point. On one hand Kaydin appeared to be involved in allowing what happened to Manhattan to.. well happen. Though on the otherhand he tried to stop it in the end. If not for that, she probably would have shot him on the spot. "We need a reason to -believe- you at this point. I wasn't at the ... heart was it? Prove you actually tried to prevent what happened.
Kaydin has posed:
"Think things through. I knew you all were part of Manhattan forces and here I am, unarmored and not even so much as stopping you or making any hostile forces. I honestly do not know if Baron thinks I am dead, or a traitor, or if they still think me in their service. If you wished for proof of my involvement, ask Aerith and Tifa Lockhart at the seventh heaven bar, in goug. Or perhaps the man who wore the metal winged armor, Xanatos. He demanded I stayed in manhattan as it was devoured, so I would be consumed by the darkness. I was even willing to do that but...Someone close didnt want me to." He says the last bit as he looks away.He then looks back to them.

"I approach you now, wanting to offer my help. Wether or not you believe my offer is sincere or a trap doesnt matter. Do what you will with it." He says calmly, not backing down. He even holds up his sword and throws it aside. "Now I am completely at your mercy. My fate is now yours. Will you let me live and help? beat me down? Or kill me, I dont care."
Zeke has posed:
Zeke stood there impassivly. "I don't personally care on whit if these fine people take out the los of their homes and the lives of God alone knows how many people from your hide mate." He loosened his coat anyway showing off several guns. "I just don't want 'em doing it here since nobody wants to have to clean up after a bar fight."
5rHe watched the rest of the cafe and took a drink from his bottle. "Personally if it were me though in your shoes. I'd start running. You have no proof to back your claims and you're talking to the exact wrost people at the worst times to try finding friendly company."
Deidra has posed:
Deidra is very angry from the looks off things here. "This likely another Baron's lies. You butched more people than you can even concives of and are likely from your world. You made the darkness all teh stronger I want nothing to do with this." She leaves money to pay the Cafe but seems to be getting ready to leave. "I have better things to do..." She looks like she's about ready to stalk off.
Brooklyn has posed:
"We'll ask them when we get the chance." Brooklyn says, in response to the witnesses of Kaydin's actions, "And I will talk to Xanatos personally." He turns away from the knight, "I still won't trust you, but if they vouch for you, that'll be good enough for me." Xanatos maybe not so much, but the others, Brooklyn would believe.
Zeke has posed:
Zeke grunted and started for the door. "Suddenly feeling rather chilly here. Better to find more pleasing company."
Skyline has posed:
Skyline seems a bit pleased by this, but she had every plan for getting some food. So. After that's all done she seems to relax a bit, heaves a sigh, then waves a waitress over to place an order. Its as simple as that.
