---|---|---|
Mercade Alexander | Loyalty | "This one wonders if you are aware to what extent your words have had an effect on us. There are many who have nowhere else they can go." |
Will Sherman | Good Friend | "While perhaps not the most mature member of the TDA, he was instrumental in saving us from Cronus and the experiment. Umi loves him as akin to family. For my own part, I would have likely been slain by Cronus if not for him. I am appreciative." |
Celina Duvalis | Mom Impersonator | "She saved Umi's life when she was injured. Nevertheless we do not know her very well. She handles Tom Magnusson so this is understandable. It is a full time job. We do not envy her but would like to get to know her better." |
Avira | Respect | "A TDA Member who has assisted with our escape from VitaTek. She seemed to help Cronus a lot. We like her and she seems intelligent. Competitive. Was a mutant but is a human again." |
Tom Magnusson | Uncertain | "While he is not as foolish as he appears, he is still rather foolish. There is a difference between bravery and recklessness and we know all too well that a single mistep can be the end. He often has a counterargument ready for why he is not being foolish but being able to come up with counterarguments and having a slippery position does not make you wise." |
Maximilien | Devotion | "He got hurt helping us, and he seems like he could use help though for what precisely we do not know. For my own part, he could be an elder brother or perhaps even a father. Or, at least, I suspect these are the sorts of things one can expect from a family. Having never had one, Max may be the closest I've had. He probably does not have similar views but being reassured by him...It was nice. Shida's ressurection would have been much more painful for me without him being there. I want to hear more stories." |
Isaac Hanlon | Healthy Respect And Fear | "We have known him the longest than anybody else on this list, and he is from our world. He helped save us, more than that--he brought Shida back to us after she had died. He did not have to do that. Still, despite it all, it's hard to not have some fear of him. For what he's failed to do, what he's succeeded in doing. We are glad to be on good terms with him." |
Leida | Friend | "Despite Imi's behavior, she is not as well informed on topics of romance. Leida desires some dangerous things and this desire is what led her to being possessed in the first place. Can we help her--that is not the question. The question is does she want to be helped? Being clumsy and overly apologetic is not the worst of fates." |
Ivo Galvan | Comrade | "Ivo Galvan knows about mischief. As someone interested in humor, he is a fine example of mischief. In some ways, he understands us quite well. He is observant even if he fakes otherwise. We suspect he is the brains behind the Shard Seekers." |
Percival | Respect | "Gargoyles in general seem to have this sort of honor to them but Percival takes it even farther. We actually quite like him and I hope Umi and Imi don't unnerve him too much. He is actually rather smart, but not too observant, a strange combination. Still, once he sees things properly he understands quickly. We hope we can be friends." |
Acquaintances

---|---|---|
Reize Seatlan | Amusement | "He has to be seen to believed. The Network believes that everyone should spend some time alone with Reize Seatlan and get to know him, and be really honest with him. Still, he is a simple man who seems to know himself quite well...though isn't it better to try to be more than just that? You might be able to manage it." |
Faruja Senra | Friend | "While we do not know him well, he has good intentions and has helped save us from Cronus. Ami likes him but has trouble talking with him." |
Sable | Friend? | "He helped destroy the home of those I hold dearest to me. Still, we do not think he is a bad person. Why would he rescue me from water if all he wanted to do was to hurt people? He even held back the Heartless from attacking. He undeniably uses the Darkness, but even light can be used to harm others. I think he may need help but we should be cautious lest we offend him. Cute. As for Sable, who is totally not Riku, he seems like a nice young man." |
Cronus | Worry | "He won't attack us anymore, but we never really hated him for that. Does he understand our feelings?" |
Aerith | Neutral | "She helped us but we are uncertain if she took that seriously. Well, lets proceed cautiously." |
Tifa Lockhart | Casual Friend | "We do not know Tifa Lockhart well but she has helped us and has always been friendly." |
Hades | Healthy Respect And Fear | "He snapped his fingers and Shida was alive again. The others, we hope, have moved on enough...but just to think, in theory he could ressurect as many people as he'd like. Where would we be then? Regardless of his nature, he does seem to respect his bargains but naturally one should try to avoid bargaining with Death. Max had a story about this." |
Lavi | Ride Provider | "Whee!!!" |
Adversaries
The Network has no enemies as of yet. They don't tend to hold grudges.
Abilities
Human Network: The Network's chief ability is simply the fact that there are (at present) five entities with which they share experiences, memory, and knowledge with. Indeed, even their personalities carry a great deal of similarity as a result of this, making it something of a double edged sword as they tend to behave rather similarly with some minor deviations in mannerisms. Naturally they can imitate each other pretty well even without direction and would have no problem with obtaining direction due to their linked minds. It can also be an issue as they tend to try and achieve consensus before coming to a decision though this is not always the case, consensus can take time--leading to effective indecisiveness. The Network has died many times. This leads the five to have a certain acceptance of their mortality and are particularly at peace with it, leading to bravery that can, at times, border on recklessness (or in the case of Umi, jump way past recklessness into supra recklessness). At the same time, they have gotten quite good at avoiding damage, tolerating pain, and stomaching through disgusting experiences by virtue of these shared experiences.
Electromaster: The Network's other chief ability is their control of electromagnetic fields. This is a rather broad field, but they've got good skill in a variety of tricks involving this power and, for that matter, solid firepower to boot. Due to how Vespertine magic works, they also have a great deal of scientific knowledge regarding electrical matters. Of course, while their focus allows for quite impressive displays in this particular power, they do suffer from a lack of variety. In situations where electromagnetic manipulation can't come up with a solution, they're sunk! Or they'd have to get a bit creative. Manipulation of electrical devices is also a potential use.
Firearms: The Network is knowledgeable in the use of firearms but they're not remarkable in their use.
Open Mind: Originally designed as a kind of storage network, The Network learns quickly (should they put their mind to it) and can get a basic understanding of a skillset quickly. They can absorb data from electrical storage devices. They are very curious about the Data Discs from those of the Grid. Notably, they are not--strictly speaking--hackers. Cracking encrypted files is another thing altogether. However, if paired with a hacker, they'd be quite a force to be reckoned with.
Unique Abilities:: The five members of The Network have some unique skills. They are not uncovered yet.
