Profile

The Hyral family is a name well known in the highest levels of the Cosma Naturalis Church. Alma Hyral is the youngest daughter of this family. Doted upon by her parents and homeschooled until the age of twelve, she found herself not emotionally equipped for the challenges of Alexander Academy. She's known to be ultraconservative, klutzy, and frumpy. She's also a fan of Astronomy, Theology, and Philosophy over any of the harder sciences.

Abilities

White Magic: Having come from a world where one's skill at White Magic depends on one's faith and focus she's known to be an expert healer. Beyond that, the extent of her magical ability is relatively unknown.

Cooking: Alma is an excellent cook, albeit one lacking in imagination.

Songbird: While it's rare to hear her sing, Alma is a talented Alto singer from her time in Choir.

Night Owl: The night is Alma's time, she's up during the these hours more often than the day time.

Astronomer: Alma can be seen obsessively gazing into a telescope and recording her findings during most nights.

Disadvantage - Pacifist: Alma will never initiate a fight, and will never defend herself. She might waive this in the defense of others... or when faced with a powerful minion of Chaos.

Disadvantage - Social Anxiety: When meeting new people, or engaging in conversations with multiple people at once, Alma often stutters, and is unable to emotionally handle the overload.

Disadvantage - Frail: Alma is frail and was generally considered sickly as a child. She falls ill easily, but is able to mitigate this somewhat with her mastery of White Magic.

Disadvantage - Klutz: Alma is not graceful, agile, or dextrous and often trips over her own feet.

Ethnic Trait - Ramuha: Alma can sense changes in barometric pressure, and thus adequately predict when the weather is about to change.
